I like the Raikage, but how would it stand up to this? name: Raishiro (White Thunder) appearance: an apparently normal scimitar with a blue gem set into the hilt. the gem flashes every time the blade hits something. Shikai: the sword becomes a white axe with a head formed entirely of lightning. activated through the command "White Hurricane". Bankai: the scimitar replicates itself, then the two weapons fuse into the wielder's forearms, creating metallic blade-like protrusions. The user is able to move thousands of times faster than normal and can run through objects, and their sight and reactions improve accordingly. activated when a Hollow or hollow-posessed being or object is detected nearby. abilities: regular: the sword can nullify energy projectiles on contact and will act like a lightning rod for said projectiles, attracting them away from civilians. Shikai: the blade can cut nearly anything and will move of its own accord if the user is immobilised. it can also deflect energy projectiles. Bankai: allows running through walls and attacks at speeds near that of light itself. however, it will deactivate as soon as the trigger leaves, which could result in the user becoming stuck in objects. Shouldn't it be Shirorai? 0_0 |

new one from me (sorry about the double post, noones looking at this thread anymore, and it wont get noticed if i don't make a new reply...)
Name: shiro-ga, getsuei-usagi (white moth, moon-rabbit)
Apearence: it appears as a normal tanto with a straight blade (a little long then your forearm) and an ornate ebony handle with a crescent pummel, it has no guard. it's scabbard is black and has gold engravings of moths and leaves on it. two short, golden ribbons flow of the end of the scabbard.
shikai: the scabard and sword grow. the blade of the sword is now that of an O-katana and is astonishingly silver. the blade curves slightly at the end, but apart from that it's still straight. the handle is practically reversed, with the crescent moon acting as the guard, the handle is now 'one and a half' style (one and a half refering to the hands it could be held with). the scabbards ribbons are longer and the engravings glow slightly.
Bankai: the swords blade dissapears.
spirit: appears as a white rabbit and twelve white moths, the rabbit has the gift of human speech (funnily enough).
abilities:
normal: the user may turn into a white rabbit or swam of moths(eeee!)
shikai: the users lower body strength is increased greatly.the sword can fire crescent shaped waves when swung and the scabbard can release a swarm of moths that act as a smog effect. the blades swing can also parry and act like the sword itself. it is activated by the command 'glint'
Bankai: once the blade dissabears the user can summon 12 ghostly, silver swords (imagine vergil's summoned swords.) the scabbard retains its moth ability and the users speed is still quick. the users robe turns white and their steps are silent. th sword can still slash far away objects but is still not physically there.

Ryukage~KÅn (Shadow Dragon ~ Super) (Yes, I know, very literal. But whatever.)
Normal: The blade is completely black, and no light can reflect on it. The hilt is round, with a gold pommel, and a handle with black leather wrapped around it. Grants the user massive speed and flight powers. It can slash through things that regularily can't be slashed, much like Rune Save from Rave Master. However, it can also slash anything else.
Shikai: The blade glows completely black, absorbing all light within a 5-km radius. One single black feathered wing blossoms from your right shoulder. Partial power over darkness is granted. Activated by the command "Garden of Eden".
Bankai: The blade completely reforms. It becomes a totally malleable substance that you can mould into anything you want. Six black angel wings burst from your back. You now have powers to bend reality - Powers of total darkness, be yours to use anytime. Black holes can form at your fingertips.
Spirit is a completely black dragon, made of neutrinos. Gives power over the cosmos.

Hmm, I've had this in mind for some time, so I guess I'll post it.

Normal apparance:
Short sword with a lenght from tip to end of handle being a diagonal of one's back.
The scabbard is dark grey and the tip is sharp corner around the angle of 30 degrees. Handle is normal, with a square of dark grey at the bottom.Rest of the handle is striped with same colored stripes on dark yellow tone.
Sheath is toned maple.The sword is pulled is pulled upside down and due this, the open end of sheath is slightly magnetic, allowing for some use in fight.Also, the weight of the sword is only half of the normal sword, making it quite useless in taking hits due the fact it will just get overpowered.
Shikai: Released with the command snap(ƒXƒiƒbƒv) - Sunatsupu
Can be released without fully unsheathing the zanpaktou.The slayer itself turns into a whip having the zanpakuto turn into thin, sharp blades rounding around the core, which looks like an extension to hilt.The blades and the core are covered with one-sided sekki stone, allowing to block some styles of attacks and drain.This can be used as a spear from afar(lenght of ten metres at maximum, but controllable) or tied around things, which can break them or move forcibly when switching back to unreleased state.
Bankai:
Any remains of the orginal cutting edge fall off, then construct a room around the fighters with cover of sekki stone from inside and outside, and the core changes completely, turning solid and unstretchable, with big enough draining ability to absorb nearby spirit particles.All drained reiatsu will be returned to the user of sword, allowing for both reiatsu increase as the battle lasts and any missed attacks to be used in himself's favor, also removes from opponent the ability to protect himself with massive reiatsu barrier.
The room can be dissipated, though, to be used as a zenbonsakura-type special for suprise attacks aganist both insiders and outsiders with either the purpose to cut or to restrain them and absorb their energy.However, the speed of these cutters is minor compared to orginal and can be escaped from easly with a shunpo.
I think it isn't very balanced, but it depends greatly on the user's own strenght, meaning that it is only dangerous when used correctly.
