I can't say much about Berserker, as level 3 has a 55 difficulty on the roll and I keep bombing it. And no one on the OAQ forum has posted info on it that I could find.
The new stuff looks pretty interesting. I'm afraid the hammer is going to have a neg BTH or something though. :\
And the IronThorn shield sounds impressive... But it gives no defense boosts or elemental resistances. It ONLY doubles attack damage output. And it seems pretty capricious about doing so; There are times when my attacks with Reign Plate do worse damage than they did before I equipped it, which should be statistically impossible with all damage doubled.
And I am still more than a little miffed that they balanced the IronThorn by making it useless defensively. Where was this mentality when they decided that releasing a spell capable of 10-55, 10-55, 10-55, 10-55, 15-80, 15-80, at +58 BTH on the first four hits, and +48 BTH on the last two hits was 'balanced' in the face of Divine Magic?

im lvl 6 atm, but one of the things that bothers me is that the armor is one-hit.. and there is unormal manny fights to fight to get the stat roller, and its unusally high. mostly its not a poblem with 30+ but still.. i think the one at lvl 10 will be kinda hard :/

it's a pretty unstable class. i absolutly love it's melee based rage and i',m surprised how many of these attacks require screaming.

Yu have to get 80 to pass the last stat roll.. i got a 100 tought instant succes  I think berserk is a really nice one, you cant do anything other than using berserker attack for a few rounds, but its a 4 hit attack with GOOD power. im hurting like 50-70 with 150 str and a 7-28 weap. and if you get more hurt you can do 300% dmg each attack!! its INSANE!! and the spirit thingy (lvl 10 skill) is UNBELIVABLE!!! i got pretty much hurt so i already did 65-80 dmg each hit, and then i used this thing, it was MANNY hits! and i hurted 140 on some of them.. ok, you might dont think its so good as i do. but.. im lvl 79!! and it was like 8 hits or something  ok, perhaps not that manny, but, it was enough for me and its really cool when you die xD you have to try it ^^ |

I don't like this class, simply because i don't know what lvl 1 skill does. I passed all rolls to level 6 so far with 0 STR XD. It's a pretty nice class, but Berserk misses a lot.

im lvl 78 and im not guardian and i got 5 in all classes i just got 5 in bersker and it ownsssssssss i hits 40-70 3 hits yeah 120 -210 i just tried it !!!!! on serlissa wtaer dragon i really want guardian !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 buy me one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my birtay is 7 mars !!!!!!!!

you should, and theyr quest is really cool! after you beated the monsters youa re fighting other berserkers. (the lvl 10 quest) first one. thats easy, because you noly do the nightmare skill. and they like always miss. and then one weaker verson also easy, but i used the special. and then you have to face 3 of them at the same time, and this with no heal.. so the last one is hard.. but its fun to watch berserkers die. they are still boxing in the air ^^

I'm the only warrior build on this board and I already said I'm not gonna stop complaining about imba because of a new piece of equipment. And let's face it... The IronThorn isn't even that good. I don't care what the staff says, it does not double the damage of every hit. In fact the only hit I've seen any consistent doubled damage on is the first hit off Reign Plate. And even THAT isn't really being doubled, it's more like it's having the damage increased a little. I consistently got 60-100 damage off the first hit of Reign Plate on most attacks before IronThorn, after it I'm just getting 100-140. Either its bugged or my damage output is not being doubled consistently. |
