I remember when they were 500 gold. The old frostvale presents haven't risen at all. I still have some from '05 and they haven't risen in sellback price.
The total cost for all lvl 90 gift boxes is 300,000 gold.

This sux...The items are so expensive and the top magic giftbox weapon stinks. Are the gitboxes' elements determine the weapon inside's element?

The element, probably not. The attack type, probably that'll stay the same.

last year's boxes turned into SkyScorchers and I can't remember if the boxes were melee or ranged. I would guess that this year they wanted to make something for everyone to use and they'll keep the same type.

i think last years gift boxes were fire types but when they opened, they turned into some kind of wind weapon i think it was called the ground splitter?

the SkyScorcher was an ENERGY weapon last year. there was no ground splitter.
did you get your character name from that Zanpakuto topic?

Umm... Acually the Groundspliter was the adventurer gift box weapon. It was wind.

In a way, the staff has gotten lazier.
The more Frostvales we have, the less giftboxes we get. I at least think so, the first one had a load of everything, Guardians got theirs from Tower, Adventurers from Yulgar, and they weren't even the same things. Unlike this year, from what it looks like.
Then again, unlockable bonuses. It might be good, or it might be headpalming bad. We'll see.

edit: SO THAT'S WHAT THAT IS! I've been seeing it in Ballyhoo for ages and assumed it was a non-existant weapon.

OMG WTF!?
The giftbox weapons cost 150k!! I can't buy all of those! Why do they cost so much!?
Will they have the same element or not!? Because if they do I don't want any of them unless they are gonna shoot up to 200k sell back or more.

I have no problem with the price,its the room for them that is the problem for me,I try to get the best of each type of weapon and have all 3 types for the more used weapons,meaning a good magic,a geed ranged and a good melee,the problem is with the exception of maybe my eye of carnax they are all (supposedly) good weapons,although some of them Ive never used,but then theres some I don't use but I can't bare to get rid of,like said eye of carnax,it may be an old low level rare,but that thing still packs a punch and is a great water enemy weapon. |
