says who? it's entirely possible the name was based on the Nightmare Set which may or may not have been stolen by Queen Frost, mother of Jack Frost.

the word is Theories, but thanks for that. I probably think too much, but the reason I thought of that is that, IIRC, Queen Frost did NOT show up alongside her son and husband last year. I never actually beat the Frost King, so this year I'm looking for revenge in the form of my rather nice (last year's present item) Icefall and Winter shield. Plus I'll have the Conflagration blade by the time we get to a final boss, so it'll be hot hot burny for anything daft enough to stand in front of me.

When the items are announced and released yall are going to have to set me straight again.As for the frost king,I remember him being pretty tough.  Oh you've got to be kidding me,first "battle monster" today and guess who it was,ya,he must have been waiting all year for revenge.  |

Yeah. But if I recall correctly, hitting Jack Frost with fire was suicidal. I dunno, at the time I killed him with fire. It just turns the fight into an arms race. He hasn't got a lot of health, so if you can finish him quick, it's ok. Mind you, hitting king frost with fire is suicidal. You can't deal that much damage. |

true. Actually I ended up resorting to the Blade of Peace for some of it... I bet sam didn't keep that Ice Orb Essence like I told him to.

Mind you, I mananged to knock off more than half of it's health with Fire Wave, before it finally healed. Then I was like "Oooops........>,<." Usually they put something in the monster description. I think I'm gonna try out all gift boxes this year - I missed last year's Skyscorcher because I didn't think I'd need an energy weapon. |

I beat him yesterday with golden axe,iron thorn,asgardian plate,summon garlick,fairy godmother,allot of heal wounds(since they wont give me my pumpkin patch 300  ) and then the beleqwaya's gift,the magic ring one. |
