They say that it'll "import the char info from your existing AE accounts" - Does that mean I'll get Reign as my starting armor?

And how can it be based on AQ, DF and MQ all at the same time? I don't know, but check it out for yourself here.

If they are going to allow to import a character from ALL AE games(AQ, DF and MQ, Archknight isn't important enough(isn't it sad, Archknight? ;_;)), I expect to see the following.

A world of Lore to explore, with our characters, with a set armor, because adding and animating ALL armors of AQ(excluding DF because it already has those, and MQ because it has no armors. Only outfits, and those are done already) would be too tiresome.

AKA Steel Plate in the few AQ-walkaround missions.

You couldn't actually fight. Just walk around, chat and yeah.

Originally, it was to be called something like Hero Shine, since there's as second site for the game called heroshine. Anyway, this was from that site; before they updated it to make it look the same as the real one.

A Massively Multiplayer Adventure
Five years after the creation of AdventureQuest we will have the opportunity to import our characters and explore, battle and quest together in a brand new adventure spanning all of the games!

You will be able to import your characters from AdventureQuest, DragonFable and MechQuest. We are in a bit of a unique situation to do this... imagine, all of your past playing giving your new character access to armors and special advantages.

Game Progress Update
I know that no one knows about this site yet... except for you... since you are somehow reading this (impressive!). I would love to share what is going on behind the scenes with you. We have a small team (only 2.5 of us since everyone is working hard on the main three games -- including us,) and we wrote the engine in Actionscript 2.0 which was officially "functional" a week ago. Then, we ran into a wall because Flash AS 2.0 did not allow us to achieve some very important core functionality that we felt was essential to the game being fun. So... we rewrote the ENTIRE game (and by rewrote, I really do mean every single line since literally nothing translated) to Actionscript 3.0. It took a week, but now we are preparing to test the core functionality of the engine. This includes login, exploration, interaction, chat, changing armors, etc.

Gameplay Style & Concept
This multiplayer world seems like the natural evolution for our games. We picked a style of art which is unique and in-between AdventureQuest and DragonFable's art styles. We also had to make them a bit simpler so we could animate many players on the screen at the same time without lagging. I think the best things that are made start as "man I wish we could do this." The two top things in my mind are, "I wish we had a multiplayer game so we could hang out with the players (Specially I want to battle some undead!)" and "I wish I could import my characters from other games so all of that time, effort and the upgrades get even more valuable." This game is the answer to that question. It will be soloable... that is, you will not be required to play with other players. Obviously, the game will be multiplayer and you will miss out on a lot of fun things. We are building this completely open ended, so just like in AdventureQuest and DragonFable we can add all sorts of crazy and wierd multiplayer encounters that will involve everything from battling, to puzzle solving, to very unique roleplaying challenges were how well you can get information from the other players is more important than how big your weapon is. And the weapons will be BIG!!!!! Battles will be real time and you will be able to move around and do whatever you would like during them. Hmmm, what else.... oh! Like in our other games you will not be restricted to a single class. In fact, you will be able to be all of them and level them up unlocking new skills and advantages. This game is intented to be lunch break sized, so getting into the action will be quick. While there will be lots of places to explore, you will always be one button away from adventuring with your friends.Your character will not be locked down to a single server. This is normally where I would say something like, "Tell us what else you would like on the forums!" -- but we do not have a forums yet... and.... this is all top secret and no one should know about this website.... except for you.... hey.... how did you find this!? <whispers> Shhhh. Let us keep this as our secret for now.

Knowing the staff, it's probably going to involve ****ing monthly fees and times where you can't log in.

But PRAISE THE LORD if they make it so that Guardians and all the other **** get instant upgrade.

They obviously WON'T make existing paid players get an upgrade in AQW, because that wouldn't make that much sense. It's a new game, just like DF is new to AQ and MQ is new to DF and so on.

Why would they give you an upgrade? Srsly.

We get a few extra perks, but I think a week and a half from now, they'll add the "PAY TO PLAY THE GOOD WAY" thing and 95% of stuff they've made will turn P2U.
