Weapons guide
Many people over look many of the weapons in the game, and only use one or 2 of them. In levels that don't have those weapons, they are easy prey. Get to know how to use each weapon to the fullest, so that you can be good at each level.
Power Beam
Close Range Combat
The basic starting weapon, is commonly over looked, and is almost never used online. Many people never use it online, and only use affainity weapons. However, the power beam is incredibley deadly in close range combat. There are 2 ways to use this weapon: machine gun, and power bombing. Machine gunning is when you fire at a rate so that you do not charge your shots, and you are always firing. Power Bombing is firing shots at your foe until it charges, then getting real close to them, assuring a headshot. My one peice of advice for people new to playing this game: learn how to use the power beam.
Missiles
Medium-long range combat
For non-samus's, Missiles are good for killing someone who is trying to run for health. Its a nice finishing move. For Samus's: This is a very good weapon. It can be used for close-long range combat, but the main strength from this weapon comes from long range fighting with snipers that you cannot reach quickly. If you even suspect a sniper, launch a homing missile at where you think they are, and you'll either reveal them selves trying to dodge it, or it will hit them and they'll move, so they'll be revealed that way. If your attacking someone far away whos running, launch it infront of where they are, to increase your chance of hitting them.
Volt Driver
Close-Medium Range Combat
A step up of the power beam, the VD is fast and deadly. After becoming good with the power beam, use this. You need to have good aim to use this weapon correctly. A charged VD does 50 damage, but it goes very slow. Do not use it over long distances, even if your kanden. Use a charged VD only when your right by to your target.
Magmaul
Medium Range Combat
The magmaul is a powerful weapon in the right hands, and is my 2nd favorite weapon. Its strength comes from tight areas. A good anti-alt weapon, the magmaul is great against any alt, just get to higher ground a fire at them. The magmaul is very deadly on ramps and inclines, such as the stairs leading to the center "pyramid" of alinos gateway.
Imperialist
Medium-Long Range Combat
The imperialist is extremley deadly in the hands of an experienced sniper. (ME!!!)
A heashot from a scoped shot is 200 damage, a OHKO. The imperialist is the best sniping weapon there is, especially in the hands of a good trace. Now, a few tips that can help you be a better sniper.
1) If you snipe someone, and you miss, and they see you, don't stay where you are, especially if they have the imp too.
2) If your trying to snipe someone, and you cannot move fast enough, and they leave your screen, unscope. You can turn faster while your unscoped.
3) As far as close range sniping goes, keep your aim unscoped, then right before you shoot, scope.
Judicator
Medium Range Combat
Most people under-estimate the judicator's strength. Aim at the ground, so that the judicator bounces into them. Even if they jump, they'll get hit. The judicator is especially deadly in tight areas,
Noxus- Noxus's freeze can be very deadly, especially if your facing a good shafow freezer. It doesn't take much, just freeze, then imp headshot.
Other- The tri-shot judicator is VERY deadly in tight areas. Its possible to get a OHKO on spire and samus, just headshot them with all 3 shots. In compression chamber, get the Double Damage, and use the judicator to the max.
Shock Coil
Close Range Combat
The coil is commonly over looked, since only n00bs use it online. But, if you can aim right, you can coil anything. Even alts. To coil alts, simply go to higher or lower ground than them. The shock coil is VERY deadly if you can use it right. If you want to see its potential, to a team defender match, with a 3 star sylux on your team, vs any 1 star bot. Once the sylux busts out the coil, you'll see what it can do.
BattleHammer
Weavel- Medium-Long Range Combat
Other-Close Range Combat
If your not using weavel, I wouldn't use the BH much, stick with the magmaul. If your using weavel, the battle hammer is VERY lethal. The longer a shot is in the air, the more damage it does. Use the battlehammer in narrow hallways. In low gravity levels, you can hit someone, so that you knock them of course to their doom. Also try to use MSSI.
M..S.S.I stand for "multiple shot, Simultaneous impact" which means, you can shoot multiple shots, at different altitudes, and if you did it right, they should hit at around the same spot, within less than a second of each other. Heres how you do it: (keep your finger on the fire button the whole time, or else you wont shoot them fast enough for it to work!)
Shoot a battle hammer shot at a high altitude
Keep your target right under the shot
shoot another battle hammer right under the first
Repeat
If done right, you should be able to hit a far away target with multiple shots, which, if they all hit, can cause serious damage, and allowing you to move in for a close range attack. MSSI can be done on large levels, but can only be done with weavel.

Omega Cannon
The most powerful weapon in the game, the omega cannon kills anyone within its range instantly. the omega cannon can only be shot once per pickup, even if you kill someone while in alt and grab their UA. But to use the omega correctly, you should first get to know the characteristics of the gun. If you use this right, you can be unstoppable in oubliette. The triskelion and vhosythe are hard to kill with the omega cannon.
Here are some moves that can make you a better oubliette player.
move 1) If someone is camping the omega, and you have one of your own, stand so that you can see the thumb of the hand, but they cannot see you. Shoot, then go hide. The blast radius from your blast should kill them.
move 2) Another good strat for omega campers if you have the omega is to go down to the bottom of the level, and aim at the thumb. with some luck, this should work the same as move 1. This is a luck shot.
3) Stand on the hand and wait until someone comes up to the hand. back up between any of the fingers, jump, shoot at the ground, then slide through the fingers to the ground, that should kill them.
move 4) Right when someone comes up the normal way using the normal jump pads, shoot as soon as you see them go on the jump pad. If timed right, you should hit them right when they come up high enough to be hit.
move 5) LAST RESORT ONLY ONLY USE IF 2-3 PEOPLE ARE NEAR EACH OTHER. If you only need one point to go, and your tied with someone, this move can save your butt. Get 2 people right up next to you, and shoot down. They will have no time to get away, and will die. but you however, will self destruct, losing 1 point.
move 6)
If someone is running from you and you have the cannon, run to the bottom floor, exactly in the middle, and shoot straight up, so that the omega blast will hit the underside of the hand. I've used this to wipe a few alt runners pretty cleanly
edit, now i have char+ weapon abilitys
sylux- when sylux uses the shock coil he heals himself as he damages the enemys.
trace- when trace uses the imperialist he turns invisible while hes immobile, just like when he stays still as a triskellion.
weavel- when weavel uses the battlehammer the bullets explode on impact (as i explaned earlyer)
spire- when spire charges up his magmaul it burns the opponent is the ammo hits them, causing damage overtime.
samus- when samus uses the missiles it homes in on the enemy
kanden- when kanden charges up the volt driver , it both homes in and messes up the opponents vision for a small ammount of time. a down side is that its a slow as artix's coming soon events actually comming...
noxus- when noxus uses a charged up judicator shot, it freezes the enamy on impact, rendering them immobile for about 3 seconds.
alt forms- this guide will help you learn how to efficiently use your charactors alt form.
sylux
lockjaw
complained to be one of the weakest alt forms in the game, sylux's lockjaw is not really an 'in the fray' sort of alt form. it' ability is to set three mines on the floor. unlike samus these bombs dont detonate unless someone walk over them or you detonate them by laying the last one, this is a good move if your on the run. also the first two bombs create a tripwire between them, witch can characters say,h someone of guard if they are, lets say, walking through a door. the tripwire can explode if youve set it too long though so remembe the length.
trace
triskelion
the triskelion is the three legged bug form of trace. the aim of this one is to slice up everything i sight by leaping forward and stabbing them. i advize you not to use it in small spaces such as floating platforms. since the user of this is trace, a sniper, this thing can be good at moving yourself to one sniping position to another. you cann also get a bit more distance in faster by just attacking thin air, as it lurches you forward anyway.
weavel
half turret
this badboys alt form is the halfturret, his lower body turns into a turret and his upper body roams around on its two arms slicing people up. you control the top half and like the triskelion this lurches forward when it attacks. you can go any distance from the turret once your detached as the turret can be put anywere. you could put it in a good sinping position and when trace comes to that position, wham he gets hit with a volly of shots, or you could change in the middle of the fray and give people hell. the thing is though, the turret does run out of energy, thmore it works the less it fires, plus people can attack either half, when the bottom half is destroyed you retun to your normal biped form (dont ask me 'how cus his legs got destroyed') but if the top half is destroyed say hello to da reaper. basicly what i'm saying is place your turret wisely.
spire
dialanch
spires alt form is the dialanch, it rolls around like samus morph ball but when you attack lots of rock fly around you smashing in to enemys. also the spicky dialanch can roll up walls (no not the roof). theres not alot i can say about this.
samus
morph ball
this works the same it has in all the metroid games. you can jump by using the bombs and stuff. and theres REALLY not alot i can say about this.
kanden
sting larva
this is similar to samus but it uses only one bomb per charge and its alot more powerful.
noxus
vhoscyth
an nice little novelty, noxus turns into a spinning top wich can extend its arm too attack. very manuverable it can be used well in small areas to push other dudes off.
