I'm fed up of seeing posts that go: 'omg lol were u get nimaRE pal8 lol ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D' so I'm going to devise some easy to follow rules for good help requests.
#1: Capital letters. After every full stop comes a capital letter in the next sentance. Every proper noun (place name; item; name; etc) has a capital letter. Titles have capital letters. Not only does it get your point across better, you're also more likely to attract help.
#2: Smileys. DO. NOT. USE. SMILEYS. It just makes your post look more obnoxious and idiotic than ever.
#3: Spelling. Good spelling a must. See that button next to 'preview post' that says spell checker? It tells you what you've misspelled, and a list of possible corrections.
#4: Getting your point across. If you want something specific, highlight your needs.
#5: Abbreviations. Don't abbreviate, if you really want help, then take the time to make your post full.
#6: Manners. If somebody gives you help, be gracious and thank them, or if they've given you some unsatisfactory help then don't just flame them, just point out courteously that it's not what you're quite looking for.
Hopefully by reading this guide, help seekers can get help faster and more efficiently.

um...yea this is already in the UAQ rules. If you have a problem with how newcomers are posting just give them that link and tell them that if they keep it up they will have a talking with a mod/admin
