Hey Guys ! Thanks for reading I had a few questions, i think i'm no more newbie in AQ now, just got lv83 yesterday, but still, there are a few things i'd like to clarify ^^ 1/ i'm seeing most people have way less in their primary stats than i have in mine ( INT ). Most people have like ~100 and i got +155.. Did i put too much ? it seems to work very fine for me tho, any monster i can hit with spells is dead very fast.. So why other people play with LESS in their primary stat ? 2/ is it allowed to ask this : When, approximativly, is the next Wizard Games Event ? 3/ I'm missing some shields i think, exept NMS and Eye of Naab.. Any suggestions on shields i could obtain ? forget the +300K gold ones, NMS just killed my wallet for good 4/ I'm searching for things that enhance my magic power ( or damage or anything ), like the Mage Orb (misc item) for example. I heard about a pet once, was it poala or sometihng ? 5/ Anyone with high INT like me, that has the Pyromancer Robe and Frost Elf Attack spell (z-token) could tell me if Frost Elf attack is worth getting ? compared to the Pyromancer fire attack ? 4000 tokens are a lot.. and btw, i dont get why darksplater is 1000 Z-T and FEA 4000 Z-T... weird.. but well.. 6/ and last question, do you think my character can do the carnax thing i always read on forums ? i see people say they farm carnax i'd like to do it but i don't even know where it is or if i can handle it ^^ i admit i didn't search for it lately, but the last time i saw carnax it had like millions of hp.. i thought that it was not for me and ran the hell off ;D So, is it allowed here to ask : Where is that carnax thing to farm ? and can i do it with my current character ? ( see sig ). Thanks a lot ! Merry christmas and everything

Okay, here are your answers:
1. INT can be a useful stat providing you are at least lvl 8 in wizard/Pyromancer class. Then you can use Divine Magic, which multiplies spell damage by 2.5.
2. The Wizard Games are held annually, the next will be sometime in '07, I can't exactly remember.
3. Don't bother with any other sheild except Nightmare.
4. The guest Poelala (available from the Z-Token shop at 750 Tokens, located in spells) which slowly multiplies your magic damage.
5. I'm not big on Tokens, so I can't judge. I would keep with Fire Wave.
6. Carnax Time Scroll War is a great place to farm. Go to Falerain in the Isle D'Oriens (click the purple splodge at the top right of the screen in BattleOn, the go left to the Libray, then click the pedastal thing in front of you) then click the large scroll on his desk (not the one with smoke coming from it, or the smaller one) and you will be teleported to the Carnax War. open the chest and grab the Carnax Blade and go make some cash!~
Hope this helps.

Hey thanks Diseased for the answers. but, For 1/ yeah i knew that hehe, i'm using divine magic since like a year . What i wanted to know was why others don't have that much in their primary stats. i saw other wizards at my lvl with ~100 in INT.. i saw meleers with ~100 in STR/dex.. the question was is 155 too much ? should i lower it to raise something else ? for 2/ well, yeah , i expected in 07 too hehe for 3/ alright thanks for 4/ Cool , thanks. Is it really good in practice ? i mean on the paper poelala looks nice, but is it really effective in fight ? or maybe its very situational, for a certain mob.. ? for 5/ thanks for advise, if anyone else can answer ? for 6/ greatness, thanks. Duh.. you said grab the sword, so i suppose it's a melee sword i'm not big into melee.. ( 0 STR ) i'll check it out anyway, lets hope he's blastable Thankies

1. because you are a mage and not a hybrid you do not have to worry about both str and int. Most people here are hybrids and since we have split our stat points into str and int it is going to be less than a pure breed like you.
2. Wizard games are in the summer in either june or july
3. get a good magic defense shield (either dream catcher, invisible shield, or the spell blocker)
4. poelala is very good for mages. every turn she increases your magic attack
5. stay with heat wave. it is extremely powerful.
P.S. in your sig change [imag e] to [im g] (dont have spaces though.)

Hey Thanks Ithious one more clarification please, about hybrids. What more can they do than i can't ? if i'm right, they're only able to fight with more types of weapons ? for example, people going for 100 str and 100 int, they can use any melee or magic weapons, but considering that now there are almost as much magic weapons than melee weapons, i think it's better to focus on one type and do way more damage.. pls tell me if i'm right and thanks you answered all my other questions perfectly, too bad i missed the wizards games again grr

yes hybrids basically only get the advantage of using both melee and magic but that is a big deal. Hybrids can get the strongest weapons in the game and make a strong arsenal without worrying about it being strictly magic or melee. It also gives them a choice to use either magic or melee type of damage so if a monster is stong against magic then the hybrid can use melee damage instead.

Hybrids fell down the totem pole a few places when the staff, in their infinite wisdom, started releasing spells that near 100 as BASE damage. This made the game totally broken and made high-level Mages God-Mode, whereas previously, Hybrids usually won the battlefield when it was all said and done.
But nothing beats a DM'd uber spell off 200 Int. NOTHING.

I agree Drago, the ability to hit up to 1200 without effort is...idiotic. But that doesn't stop me using it.

To get Rilithia's Shield talk to Artix at the main Battleon screen and do the... I think it's the 'Heard any rumours?' quest. At any point where the Rilithia NPC is on screen, just click her shield.
To get the other items, talk to the imp again. Somewhere on screen should be a button to click that has you fight only the monsters that have the items you need.

i see everybody answered question but i will add more. if i were you i would drop your cha and raise Int more. Also pure mage or pure fighter can use range weapons cause in all build the dex is used but pure fighter have bigger stats for range dmg because str also adds dmg Get poelala and darksplater instead of frost elf atack
