This is months old. Personally I think they're dragging their feet on the issue of Necro and not wanting to tick off a playerbase that's become completely reliant on its complete BROKENNESS, but I'll keep giving them the benefit of the doubt as changing a class is probably as hard as making it to begin with was. If they haven't introduced the Necro change by Christmas, then I'll stop giving them the benefit of the doubt. >_>

Necro gives insanely powerful skills for insanely cheap prices. It is imbalanced in the worst way and should NEVER have been allowed into the game as it is now. 1000% damage converted to Melee and plenty of BTH for what, 150 MP? It makes Mages deal consistently better melee damage than dedicated Warriors!
And don't get me started on mages. They need the nerfbat in the WORST !@#$%^& way.

i agree on the nerf on mages and necro is broken, but it is about time a GOOD armor/class thats not a uber or cost 2mil comes out, but thats my opion...

well if it's a prestige class (basically) to the other classes, why not have it be really strong? it's not like it's a whole lot worse than paladin. i like paladin better because it's indestructable personally. and with your rediculous endurance, i'm sure just about any classes bonuses come out the same. so what's the point in nerfing it?

You're missing my point. Necro needs to be nerfed because it makes the game too easy. I sold my Necro armor because I was too tempted to use it to lay waste to everything in the game within 4 turns.
And my rediculous endurance changes nothing. Anyone can have my rediculous endurance, it's not like Mage/Ranger/Hybrid builds are cut off from having as much End as Warrior builds. In fact my rediculous Endurance makes it MORE obvious Necro needs to be nerfed. Because I have 0 Int and still have enough MP to abuse it.

I guess so. But you could say the same thing for paladin. What if they just added some stronger monsters and quests as well as some more classes like these that have high end abilities and require base class levels to gain? It would be easy to nerf it but what would that profit the game or anyone? Why not just keep making it more fun and adding new stuff? I dunno. I just don't like idea I guess. There's lots of better ways to fix it I think.

Paladin is much more balanced. Holy Might is Light damage only, and isn't as damaging as Undead Mutant. And its other abilities either have extended charge periods or only really work on Undead.
