I think it's Paxia, actually. The newsletter mentions "Paxia under fire".

It would be nice if we did complete the war in a certain time it wouldn't be destroyed. but I suppose if someone has already designed a ruined town best not to let that go to waste. Hehe. This war seems to be moving quite fast.

not bad items, but I'm intrigued at Xilar's defection. I bought the Jumping Brain Spider.

I bought the Killbot. I have better Ice weapons, and the guests eat MP per turn, which throws off my ability to heal myself.

Krenos wins hands-down on damage and has a very high attack rate.
However, the Spiders have various nerfing effects which make them better utility guests, but only against mage monsters.
