I found the cutscenes a little confusing, it leaves you with alot of fill in the blanks.
With the weapon, I knew it'd come out , at first I thought it would be a reward from April fools, as AQ usually doesn't like to waste graphics drawn by the artists. "Wandering Blade", I thought it should have been named after the cute little chimpmunks. ( I would have named it "Nutcracker".) Hehe

Meh. I bought a house as an investment, I'm down to like 99 tokens now.

That cutscene explains a lot for me. I hope everyone knows what a Forsaken is, since the only explanation is the long one and it needs a lot of background knowledge to understand.

I don't because I'm of the "LOL BACKGROUND STORY NOT INGAME, WAT" generation.
As such, I don't really care what it is.

Then I suppose I can give you the explanation WARNING! POSSIBLE WALL OF TEXT AHEAD! A Forsaken is essentially an ex-avatar. That is, a being who was once an avatar of one of the twelve Faceless (Truth being an example, Makkisar being his avatar the last time we met him) but was left by the Faceless for one of several reasons. The most common reason is that the avatar became a parent and the Faceless passed to their child. Nightbane, it seems, was E's (or Edward's) father, and once the avatar of Death. E inherited the post of Avatar of Death. The Faceless has now passed to his sister, and I don't claim to know what the reason was for that. When a Faceless leaves a host body, it causes certain side-effects. These usually include madness or decreased sanity, and a shortened lifespan as part of what used to be their mind has simply got up and left.
Looks to me like Nightbane just wants to see The'Galin go before he does.
edit: Wow, I managed to get Faceless at the start of three lines in a row without pressing the Return key. What are the chances of that?

Sorry...I think I'm unable to calculate that.
Too many variables.
