Yes.
And that's not the Lore way. Just look at how we make our weapons and armors.

edit: oops, misinterpreted. I wonder why nobody thought of a one-way barrier around the archers? arrows go out, undead don't come in.

Warlic is probably still working on his love potion, this is probably why he isn't helping in the war. In Warlic's eye's the power of love comes before putting a magical shield up.

so why not a Charm spell? Aegis will know what I mean from LA, so I'll spell it out for the rest of you. Charm is the most annoying in-game status ever. Someone gets afflicted, they'll either attack their own side or do nothing. Someone runs into a barrier with THAT attached, they'll run straight back the other way and smash everything that's not ours. Love potion? who needs it?

How do you charm the gods damned UNDEAD? Since AQ seems to work under those usual fantasy rules, let me quote.
Too bad in AQ you CAN paralyze, stun, death effect, and energy drain the Undead, but Charm would fall under Mind-Affect.
Too bad that Light wand, whatever it was again, Harry Potter ripoff, would technically fall under mind-control with the things it can do, so I just say this.

The same place I assume AE get theirs from. Or at least the basics from.
D&D.

What's the most WIN...?
Luminous Arc. A group of ragtag warriors and spellcasters against some god-devil fusion thing?
Absolute WIN.

Two mechas, both larger than ENTIRE GALAXIES fighting eachother, and nearby galaxies are used as meat/starshields and throwing stars.
That's win.
Not very logical, but neither is the cliché ragtag warrior and spellcaster croup thing.

...You can't throw galaxies or use them as shields... Space is 99.99999999 recurring% EMPTY. Galaxies aren't substantial enough to stop a laser/missile/whatever. You can't break the laws of physics (unless you have me as a lawyer ^.^). Besides, the guy with the weird name's right, this IS getting off-topic. The war should be over by tomorrow.

Offtopic still: They broke the rules of physics, because they were awesome enough to do so. I would go more into detail on it, but I'll just go with "They could, and they did, and it was an artificial dimension anyway so technically no conventional rules apply to it".
