Bye bye low leveled rares?

Changes to rare weapons: SkyScorcher and GroundSplitter

The magic versions of the SkyScorcher weapons were renamed to "SkyScorcher Arcanus"
The magic versions of the GroundSplitter weapons were renamed to "GroundSplitter Arcanus"

The lowest level versions of these weapons no longer exist in the game shop database. They aren't just rare... they are deleted.

Everyone who still owned the level 10 version of the SkyScorchers got a free upgrade to the level 30 versions.
And everyone with a level 5 GroundSplitters got a free upgrade to the level 25 versions.

A few people will end up with duplicate same level items, but they can just sell one of them.

I plan to remove other old rare very low level items soon.

This is something from Captain Rhubarb, I just wondered if it would affect anyone? I was also wondering whether AQ may focus less on lower level items when doing boss rewards seeing as how we out grow them so quickly, maybe to put more higher breed versions in instead?

It'll be annoying if they totally scrap low-level rares, since that'd make my sister's character unuseable. She got to level 35 fighting werewolves, so she's got almost no cash to spend and can't get decent weapons. Ballyhoo is the only thing keeping her going >_>

Low level rares are hardly ever worth it. I mean really.
If you're a rare collector and MUST have one, then get one by all means even if it isn't a high-level one.

Maybe it's just me, or stuff that comes out these days to the lower ranks can be matched by stuff being sold in the permanent shops. That's what I think anyway.
