Now, with the newly- indroduced Misc items, the question is to what to keep in first 8 slots, as they recive bonus from only main menu.......
I'm thinking using the following lineup: Light Orb Wind Orb Head of the Radius Dragon 5 Misc ubers (1 misc uber and Head of Drakkonan/some other orb in house storage slots)
What do you think?

I have something like that, but no Wind Orb. What do you need that for anyway?

Misc items are like 2nd weapons, getting more and more powerful.
We both need that for fighting. The orbs are fairly powerful with things such as UM or RgP+IT, or anywhere you're using armor-weapon attacks to defeat your encounters - basically instant 20% HP reduciong for 50 MP and no wasted turn. For spells, it's only 5%, but still noticeable.Dark and Earth enemies is the most common encounters HoRD is right now on the same level as the legendary treasures, giving 2 important elements shield - class resistances and also boost to all offensive stats and great boost to ranged blocking......
Misc ubers are the signs....Special abilities + healing/damage boost.Practically a weapon.
I want people's opinion on how should first 8 misc slots look like.

There aren't really any strong Earth monsters ingame though... Except the Kel-Al's, but using Wind Orb against them is pretty much a death wish. HoRD is better for that, with the extra DEX and Earth resistance.
I agree that the orbs are probably the better of items in the Z-Misc selection, but why Wind?

When I bought a bundle of z-tokens, I thought about getting misc items. But all the decent ones are waaaaaay expensive. Even though the orbs are a good buy.

I noted the trend of alot medium-level and weak monsters are earth.Fire, Ice, etc....are rare. But Dark and Earth are pretty common. They speed you up, too... In that respect: Aganist moderate to weak dark and earth: Orbs Aganist strong dark and earth HoRD Altough sometimes I encounter fire monsters or ice monsters, Ice get's pwned by Icefall, and Fire isn't something very strong either. Energy and Water get the same treatment, there is no Earth orb, etc. Understood?

Yeah.
But those medium- and weak-level monsters go down easily. I don't really see why use time to equip a Orb when you could just spam them dead with spells.
True, you don't use a turn when starting a Orb, but still. I don't see real need to use them against those sort of enemies. Maybe against some of the higherlevel ones, but, yeah. I think I made my point.
It's in some of these posts, I think. Or is it, I wonder, I wonder.

Nope......
Well, there are swarms of those kind of enemies, so you save percentage of your time, not just a little. And you can't always spellspam, when there is 4+ round healing difference..........That is where attacking with weapon comes in.......... Average weak opponent has around 1000 HP. 5% of that is 50.20% of that is 200. The difference is significant with weapon, and even a little convertion in MP damage isn't to waste. In addition, let's say you're going at Nightbane's castle.Monsters there have massive HP, and it's good to use a trigger weapon on them.If you're using a weapon, orb is there to instantly cut 250-400 HP out of them.

I kinda see what you mean, but it doesn't really matter to me because fo my less-than-healthy level.
I don't bother with the game enough to actually cut down my fight time with Orbs, the only times I use them are against certain opponents which would otherwise kill me.
So yeah.
