Eh... The game looks like it has potential. The equipment system looks like it'll be nice once more weapons and chasises come out. Gameplay is nice and quick, too. Animations are half as long (if not shorter) than AQ.
I've just been aimlessly farming money, since level 3 needs 1000 exp (compared to level 1's 100 and level 2's 200). I currently use the Dragontooth Chaingun, Large Military Repeater, and Squire's Volt Sword. I would switch out the Sword with Crusader's Shining Reaper, but I'm too vain to carry two guns. It feels too easy right now, but it's in an early stage.

heh. you'll be near identical to my mech once you get the stuff. I wonder how long it'll be until we get the special chassises they mentioned ages ago...
oh, and Shields. that should be pretty fun.

I'm making a character for all three houses so I can check out which one is really best.
chances are if one reduces energy use or increases max energy I'll take that, since my wepaons run out of energy in about 7 turns.

A new purchasing category is out: Mechs. The only mech that's up for purchase now is a slightly boosted version of the standard mech everyone is given at the start. 20% more HP, energy, and energy regen.

The update makes me go : ( And wondering if the staff threw it in at the last minute before taking a break because they realized they couldn't make us land in last week like they first said. I just hope they won't make the quests drop all the weapons you REALLY would want. That system sucks. And that 90% of the game will be mechas making others go boom. Not that thing in DF that we currently have, where the Dragon only appears in 1% of all battles ingame. And we're the frigging Dragonlords. EDIT: Who here wants to bet that this release they are planning will NOT include any new mechas for us to purchase? I bet my soul on it. Now that I think about it.. what the.. didn't they say they would first make sure everything was ready before releasing the University? And now they are saying that everything will not be ready after all when they release it? Then push back the release date, for gods sake. Don't go back on what you say. Bad reputation. Then again, this is AE. I've seen worse from them. The Modify button is your friend.

they never specified everything would definitely be finished when we landed. we'll be crashing anyway unless our characters do the landing.

Anyway, my current weap set is:
Front arm : Crusader's shining repeater
Back arm: Refurbished machine gun (I know, I know)
Shoulder: LMR
Yeah, yeah, I should really get a dragontooth chaingun, I bought the machine gun because it dosn't overheat and I wanted to use it as an attack when everything else overheated. Now I realize that my other weapons would alternate overheating. D'OH!
