I remember the days I owned the original Golden Plate. Used it for one battle, then sold it immediately afterwards.
It's not even that good in my opinion, but people still drool all over it like it's the best armor ingame and everyone needs it back.
I'd rather hoard my gold than rebuy the darn thing. The only good item in the set, was the axe. Everything else, the shield and armor, has been replaced with more efficient armors. And shields. Shieldarmor.

I'm not saying I would use it all the time or it would be the best,but I would have liked to have had all the ubers,even if it has the same name they're will probably still be a difference.  |

I just want it because it's a melee uber set. The only one ever released out of four uber sets.
Though you are right, it hasn't aged very well.

are ther any chanches they will remove an uber to set ther golden like nemesis ?? i hope they dont remove nemesis

I doubt they would remove any armor from the database.
Anyway..
Yeah, the resistances. That's the only good thing about the armor in my opinion. It's for spellspammers who want to survive tougher fights. At the moment, I have enough armors for every fight ingame, Shadow Cloak for Dweezel, Reign for Akriloth, and Asgardian for everything else, and especially Armegoggon.
Nemesis is currently gathering dust, Golden would just end up the same.

I have a feeling they will buff the Au Set. It has a reputation, they probably made better graphics for it, maybe stronger attack, and possibly an epic version of it.
