Frustrating monster solutions

Let's share knowledge on how we deal with the monsters that are just really darn annoying.
I'll start with warrior or battle trolls. They're not immensly hard to kill, it's just a slow process and they can do a fair bit of damage. Solution: Use a class ability to knock down the troll's magic defence to below 20. Deep-freeze it with frostbite and proceed with divine magic. The troll should stay frozen. Unleash a mega-inferno. 2x normal damage against a monster with 200% fire is the same as 4 megainferno's cast at once for a 100% fire resist foe. Problem solved.

Anyone have a solution for Elite Zeals? I hate them.

My solution is probably for the highlevels only. But anyway.

Poise as weapon, Shinobi Shozoku as armor. The EZ can't do insane damage to you anyway, so you don't need to worry about your HP that much, unless you are a wuss.

Keep casting Ninja Death Strike, if you get lucky, you can end the battle in two turns. Unlucky, you might run out of MP completely and not have even one 300 damage Void hit. Poise's special would also help, since it's Void damage on it's 10% base HP drain.

Other weapons which have similar specials, I think that Light blade, Reynard or whatever is one, and Fire Blood Blade. Blood Blade too, maybe. Those two are lower-level weapons however, so if you still depend on those, poor you.

A pet with Void-damage capabilities is fine too. For me, Baby Void Dragon, but those lucky enough to still own a Sleestak might want that around.

If you lack everything I suggested, equip a Light or a Water weapon, your highest damage output armor and let the sappy thing have it. Spellspam works as well, but you won't be able to kill it with just that.

My solution for Elite Zeels is to equip IronThorn, Reign Plate, and my 15 BTH custom weapon along with my Baby Void Dragon and just beat the living **** out of it..

My solution for any Troll beneath Kel-Al (And forms of) is to equip IronThorn, Reign Plate, and Razorscale and let Nerfkitten consistently increase my damage while I just beat the living **** out of it.

So yeah, my answer for pretty much anything anymore involved IronThorn, Reign Plate, and the beating the living **** out of.

Oh, I wish I could do that....*dreamy*.

*Equips Mage robes, triggers and equips all possible things, then goes and hits it for 415.8% base of darksplatter on a SMUG; resulting in highest possible of 2813 at the cost of 532 MP*

There.Now I feel a little better.
*Wathches Berserker attack it for 4000 for 0 MP cost*

Or maybe not.Now that they "nerfed" Charm, before it would have been 831.6 random, seeking spell with relatively low MP cost.

I've considred actually taking out Shinobi Shozoku, as it has quite potent attack - altough for pure elemental X, Dracomancer is better.

I just need to stay rational and not get corrupted.....not get corrupted.....not get corru.....not get corr......not get co.....not get.......not g......not.....no........n.....---------------------------

I sold my Sleestak, I like the BVD better and there's only a .5 average damage difference between the two given UAQ's average formulas, so you're not looking at that big a final difference.

I mean come on, the thing looks like an alien that chestbursted a dragon. What's not to love?

against googs use zardwand and if ur lucky you will attack first and make him attack him self to dead

I can't beat Elite Zeels or Battle Trolls yet, but both are on my RA list. consequently I've never made it far enough to fight even ONE Groggle at Jagged Peaks. even with Protector armor, Battle Trolls still hit me.

However, I DO have a ZSW, but I can't be bothered to use it over my HP-draining RUB.

I haven't seen Kel-Al Relish in forever, but I keep meeting Kel-Al Relish Jr. and I STILL can't take that **** down.

umm battle trolls are easy just use brillhado feathers with a good armor? in my case my new shadow cloak that i love but umbral ownes too. but just spam brilllhado feathers and they are really easy..

what is the diffrennce bettwen shadow and umbral ?? in ultimateaq they got same defences but not restiance i can get my meele def to 65 with umbral nemesis shield and heros charm

I have never thought that battle trolls could be hard... i usually kill them before my HP drops down 800... i use sackleberry spec + NMP or now Protector armor and warrior edge so with protector i get 110 melee and with NMP i get 75 melee def

some people aren't level 87 with 145 INT. I don't have anything comparable to SC and I assure you I don't do damage fast enough with Brilhado Feathers.
