Ya it's melee and I bought it,I have this odd idea where I want to get one of each type of weapon for each element and I needed a melee wind weapon, too bad straight up melee, magic, ranged weapons are kind of rare, they're usually mixed meaning theres allot of weapons who's normal attack is one type with another type of special, and don't even get me started on weapons with specials that have other element attacks in them.

Fry, weapon special type means very very little, as they don't take stat bonuses.

He also talked about weapons whose specials aren't the same attack type.

Ya I know i'm a pain,I just thought it would be neat to have one for each category that way you can always have one just for the occasion,I guess it was a personal goal since i've already done everything ten times in this game.As for the portrait,I stopped wasting tokens on those unless they're cute chicks,a really likable character or just something that strikes my artistic fancy, and the current picture does none of that for me,but to each they're own.I'm still trying to save my tokens for an uber weapon, spell or the next house, but I just end up spending some every now and then,I hate seeing red in my token section of my trend report but I think it's a bit less painful the realizing I passed on something that would have been a great addition to my collection.

The Reclaimer is TOTAL CRAP. And I mean that. It's just an extremely BAD weapon. Are they going to put anything in this quest that DOESN'T suck like a Hoover vacuum?!
Element Wind, Melee, two modes: 8-32 2% BTH, 6-24 12% BTH. And it costs 250k and has a level 95 requirement! Whiskey Tango Foxtrot what were they thinking?

Well, 8 base and 24 random is pretty good, IMO.It can serve as a weaker Ragebreaker.
However, I got to agree. Level requirment is far too high. Also, don't use it with Ironthorn.
It's not useless......it has a purpose. That is, if you're a warrior, LV 95+, and still haven't got enough gold spare for ragebreaker.

Well I bought it,I never know if it's going to be worth it and sometimes by time someone with half a brain says it is it's too late, which is the reason why I don't have even more gold stockpiled and is the reason you'll notice the things in my storage swapping often,i've sold more than a few rares to get crap stuff, but who hasn't.I used to like rares for the whole status thing and it's collectible value, but i've gotten to the point where if they can't pull they're own weight in they're specific category then they can go,unless theres something really unique about them.Take for example my Eye Of Carnax and my Dragon Fang Scimitar, the first is the 65 energy version and the second is the 68 version, both not used in ages and not even the strongest versions but I used them allot so i'm kind of attached. The Eye Of Carnax even though being a weaker version and having a multi element special still kicks some butt, but the more time that goes by the more i'm thinking of tossing the Dragon Fang Scimitar, sure it's a rare and has a fairly unique special, but it seems like it just couldn't justify it's space in my inventory, but thats me,all these math equations and bth and stuff escapes my meager intelligence.I even thought about giving the Reclaimer my Dragon Fang's spot but now I have to think it over.

Fry, if you really start focusing about it, then just knowing percents, dividing, multipling, adding, substracting, linear and square function should be for most part.

You can go with 8-32, 2% BTH or 6-24, 12% BTH. It's CRAP! Nobody in their right mind pays 250K for that at level 95! At that level most weapons are already 12+ BTH if you keep up with the Wars, and they beat the living daylights out of the damage of this so-called 'accuracy form'. And 2% BTH on the 'damage form' is just inordinately low. The rumor was that the Reclaimer would be able to change between massive damage and low BTH, and low damage and massive BTH. THERE'S NOTHING MASSIVE HERE BUT THE SUCK!

I'm fairly sure you just called me insane, but no one I know would argue with you so thats quite okay.As for all the math stuff,ya um I have a better chance of learning to fly than learning to master all that stuff,I couldn't do it in school and I can't do it now,i'm just one of those people who doesn't do too well with numbers... or anything else for that matter.

nope. it's darkness-only, though, so I might get it to replace my 6th day of Frostvale.
