There is a way to fully heal during a quest without the aid of a healing platform. It requires your base class armour and the ChickenCow armour. It is based around the fact that changing armours heals you, but you can do it mid-battle too. Before the battle, equip the chickencow armour. This should fully heal you to start with. Enter the battle, and fight as much as you can. Go utterly kamikaze, you're not wasting anything. When you need that full heal, unequip the chickencow armour. You can't equip armours in battle, but you can unequip them. This will fully heal you and set you back to your class armour. Since you can't re-equip chickencow armour, you can only do this once. It makes things like killing Guffer very easy, so good luck. Someone might've reported this on the bugs forum by now, so it's only a matter of time before it gets fixed. Ah well.

You don't need a DA to find and use the armour. You can get them in various places, I found mine by killing Guffer.

I know. but I've been searching since it got released and haven't found it yet. I use the 100 rooms of doom since there are only fire monsters and only two possible drops, but no luck yet. You can also buy it for 45 DCs in Cysero's shop.

Heh. Using this trick is the only way I've managed to beat Bassault at the end of the River of Fire quest. Dead helpful. If you are on the field wearing ChickenCow, you can just un and re-equip it to get a full heal. Also dead helpful during The River of Fire

My friend does that. No one cares. Is that directed at me, or frozennova? If it was directed at me, there a lot of people care about if people Chainsaw Glitch. If you come running out at me with your shotgun held high and then you chainsaw me with it instead of the lancer, you are gay. Not all cheaters are gay, but these ones are. Especially if you do it in Ranked Matches. Ask any self-respecting player and they'll tell you the same thing. Also, other cheaters are Roadie-run glitchers, super-jump glitchers, Roadie-run shooters, invisible glitchers, and more. If it was directed at frozennova, carry on.

Hmph. I see where you're coming from on the glitch front. it's like people on Metroid Prime: Hunters using Weavel to glitch into walls. you can't hit them but they can shoot you. the only reason to leave is ammo, or if the other players use Weavel to counter-glitch.
actually, I find knowing glitches helps, but I only use them: A) in all-bot matches (target practise >_>) B) to counter human glitchers (never really applies as I don't have wifi and none of my friends have the skillz to use them)

I'll ONLY resort to using glitches if someone is constantly using them in the game and they ignore me telling them to stop. Then I will use glitches and rape them hard with them, so they usually stop being retards after I do that.
Anyways, using a bug is still cheating, and while I do the Weapon Slide glitch when I'm picking up a weapon, I don't pick up weapons very often, and the Weapon Slide doesn't really affect gameplay anyways.

I seriously wonder if thay acually tested Metroid prime hunters before they released it. One of the levels (Sic transit) has so many wall glitches that when you play online, half the battle takes place inside the walls. I mean, really.
