Honestly, I expected him to show up again as an agent of the Devourer a /long/ time ago. The lack of Nightbane thus far disturbs me.

Plus I want to see Wolfwing and Nightbane get into it again, 'cus we all know they're gonna.

Or they'll wheel Nightbane out at the last second as an ally /against/ the Devourer on a 'If I can't destroy it, neither can you!' gambit.

Yeah...I'm kinda of wondering where he is too... They'll probably bring him out lamely instead of having a cool plot twist for his addition. You never know though.
