So What Do You Think of the New Mutant Monsters?

If anyone here still plays AQ, have you been participating in the wars?
And if you have, what do you think about the new monsters? I think they have a pretty good level of difficulty, spells miss a lot more against them and their Str, Dex, and Int are all above 200...too D:

If you mean every fight in the new war, then their really easy 0.o if not then, I've yet to encounter one.

they're a lvl beyond the old monsters...D:
but still easy, i just have to pay attention while doing the wars

The seem to dodge/block better,thats about all Ive noticed.I mean there stats are higher but no super huge differences.

I've noticed differences, other than the appearances... Mostly because I ran into an Ogre and it quite literally crushed me. Undead Mutant didn't make a dent in it and my DoomKnight armor, fun as it is, isn't much offensively.

No kidding those ogres are tough,I'd say all the monsters are a tougher version of themselves,or if there wasn't and old version tougher than most of they're near level non mutant counter parts.For the ogre i used um... asgardian plate,iron thorn,rage breaker,and had galrick summoned and had the trusty fairy godmother to help out.

much easier now with my new golden set =]
basically i just use- Golden Plate, Golden/Nemesis Shield, Sila's Staff, Fairy God Mother, and Black Cat Guest and then spell spam =D

I only use full golden set when it gets really ugly,maybe in a boss fight or two but I pretty much use asgardian 99.9% of the time,its 3 hit helps me get through fights allot faster.As for spells I really haven't kept up with whats the best in each category,mostly because I stink at math and there isn't as many people around here these days I can ask for they're opinion and also because the z-token thing has gotten beyond ridiculous.I say the new mutant monsters have added a nice twist to the difficulty but I imagine it can be a bit too much of a difference for lower players or players who can't afford or don't have the proper equipment for fighting this new breed of monster.

well the lower leveled people still need to take the advantage and get some uber equipment right now while the sweep's still going on
after the sweep, i imagine everything to be way harder, and probably all of the old weak monsters gonna be gone...
oh i heard that the dragon blade isn't gonna trigger that much on drakels after the sweep..D:
but dragon slayer and the rest of the classes are getting re-done with new art and skills, etc

New art and skills, eh. Why do I have a feeling they're going to wipe the floor with Necromancy... Meh, I can handle it. DoomKnight Armor is pretty nice and I've still got Shiny Boy hanging around, so even if I can't beat mutants (Ogres of all types, Drako, Power Flower if I'm not fully healed) I can still manage some things.

i tend to leave the wars to people who aren't farming/not doing hmwk...
anyways i heard that they ' gonna change necromancer so that UG and UM will do darkness dmg and paladin will do light damage....
....enjoy wizard's divine magic while its still here...

ugh, that's ridiculous. Necromancer is NOT inherently dark-based, it's how you use it and what you use to summon the undead that adds elements. I know the KoO dislike it, but that's like forcing the Golden Plate to do light damage regardless of what weapon you equip. It might look like it works, but in practice it really, really doesn't.

Forcing an element on any weapon you equip due to the armor your wearing is beyond stupid.
