It's in your equipments. You barely save up for stuffs. I got my Nightmare Set at lvl 89. Farm at Nightbane's castle til you can get better weapons/armors.

To get anywhere, you have to realize, that AQ is now a real game. It's not a lunchsize RPG that it used to be/that they advertise it as.
So yeah.
What you have to do, is farm, and get the better armors. Don't get Nightmare, that stuff is so out-dated it's not even funny. Reign/Shadow, maybe both, and when possible, Asgardian.
You just might be able to win then. I think the higher tier monsters are designed based on the concept that the majority of players will be wearing an uber armor, amd the enemy attacks with according power.

And, of course, those of us who are AVOIDING Ubers because we don't want to be the same generic character as everyone else are incapable of winning fights. IE, me.
I'm having exactly the same problem. Predecessors in the war hit 100+ total with their Ranged attack, Brilhado Necromancers hit 180 and heal 90 (I'm sure it's more than that because after they heal I might as well have hit 50 with Undead Mutant), Wood Golems hit 200+ PER TURN - and that's not an average - and it's just not funny. Some people want to do things their own way.

Yeah.
You have two choices.
Do it your way, or be successful.
ISN'T IT SAD?
We need more customization. Like.
A customizable uber armor.

Depends on how fast you farm. If you complain here, 1 year might not cut it.

You just don't. You have to prepare for it beforehand.

I think she means that you can't just decide to win,you have to have some preparation and planning.

Meaning: Charge up Paladin's Full Heal, Call Forth the Fire Dragon, have a bunch of potions(MAX) ready and so on.
Because that's really all there is to planning and preparation in AQ.

Minimal time to get an uber armor at your level: 5 days(actually 4,36, but w/e). Or in hours, 14h if you got nice equipment for a good place. 17,5h; if you don't. If you don't focus, god knows how much.

Token's are for the mid-uber level people.
The Z-stuff IS strong, but they are not as strong as the uber equipment. Armors especially.
Of course, you could convert your Tokens to gold, but you'd have to be completely stupid to try that.
