Well, it's important to the storyline, is it not? Not everyone could beat the boss sequence, I think, so they added it as a separate cutscene.
On the bright side, my sister's char can avenge you-know-who's death: she's got his Spirit Double spell.

I love false advertisement. How is this a NEW cutscene, if it is actually and old cutscene?

...Spoilers much? I know most of us have seen it by now, but there's almost guaranteed to be SOMEONE who didn't.
edit: OWNED BY THE NEW CUTSCENE BEING THE BUTTON *ABOVE* THE WAR CUTSCENE ONE
edit the second: KALANRY IS GOING TO BE THE ARCHMAGE CLASS TRAINER.
If that, as a Tier 3 class, is anywhere near as good as MA is, this is going to be SO much fun for mages...
