Niko's leveling guide

Hey, I though this guide was good, except for the weapon reccomendations.


For example, you say to keep the Angelic Scepter until level 75. But at level 55, I reccomend getting the Draksaw, because the AS is just too underpowered by that level. At level 62, you can get Raynar's Superior Blade (I'll be level 62 very soon and I'm going to get it)

There is no way the Storm Sword is the best wind weapon in the game either, it's a level 40 weapon!

The Flame Hatchet is good for level 40, but at level 50, you should get the lvl 50 Pzycho Sabre, then at level 60, get the FIre Lord's Axe (not level 70)

Then there is an ice weapon at Adder's Forge for level 70 that is better then the Ice Katana.

As for the Seaslayer, at level 50, you can get the Vile Cutthroat's Cutlass, then the Great Blade of Rennd at level 60. At level 70, you can get the Dread Pirate's Cutlass. There's no way a level 100 would use a Seaslayer.

And that's just the beginning. There are much better weapons than just about everything that was listed.

Well, I don't know that much about AQ except for equipment designed for people level 60 and under, which wouldn't make a very informative guide.

I hope I didn't come across as a jerk, because I really did think the guide contained good information, I just didn't agree with some of the weapon reccomendations.

If you want me to write a Low Level Equipment Guide, I will, but I don't think people would be too interested in it.

Yeah, Niko's guide is really outdated. It was written in 2004. If anyone wants to rewrite it with current equipment we would be happy to add it.

There are some very good guides in the AQ Guides forum in the Artix Entertainment Forums. Maybe you can select some?

To do that, they'd have to be posted here by the original owners. After that they'd have to be coded using HTML, which can take a lot of time per guide which I need to be using to do other things.

However, if anyone knows HTML and can code a guide that is poster here for us, we can put it up.
