FEA vs DS

According to UltimateAQ, the average damage of Dark Splatter is 228.9, while it is 184.3 for Frost Elf Attack. I was wondering why?

DS -- 9 Hits - Magic Darkness, 8-12 damage per
hit, 5% BTH per hit. 1 Hit - Magic
Darkness, 34-50 damage, 100% BTH.

FEA -- 9 Hits - Magic Fire, 8-13 damage per
hit, 5% BTH. 1 Hit - Magic Fire, 34-50
damage, 100% BTH.


Why does DS have a higher Average Damage if FEA is basically the same spell with 1 additional random damage?

P.S. Talk about inflation - DS 1K ZTs compared to FEA 4K ZTs

This is the correct place. It is a site issue, not a game issue. We had a small error where it didn't take the 10th hit into consideration. Fixing it now.
