Well it's been a while since I've been on, and I thought this board might have grown a bit... But since I guess this thread isn't as active as it used to be I wanna know if anyone has seen any of these:
1. Haruhi Suzumiya no Yuutsu (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) *Terrible Dub*
2. Chobits *Good dub*
3. Disgaea *Good dub*
4. Ouran High School Host Club (Which is weird to most people but has a pretty good ending )
5. Mahou Shojo Lyrical Nanoha
6. Mahou Shojo Lyrical Nanoha A's (Both not dubbed yet)
7. Bokusatsu Tenshi (chi?) Dokuro-chan (Not sure if dubbed or not yet)
8. Power Puff girls Z (Which is shojo to the max XD most people think I'm weird for watching it though ())
9. Genshiken

Anyone? These are anime that I have seen since I went inactive about what... a year ago? maybe more?

I've heard good things about Melancholy, but since I lost my college connection, I'm mostly watching whatever Adult Swim puts on. >_>

1. Yes I am a huge anime fan.
2. Even if Melancholy comes on adult swim, DO NOT WATCH IT. It's english voice actors are so bad it hurts to watch. One of the main characters is Hinatas voice actor, and she doesn't even try to change her voice. muffindomain.com/index.php is where I got it from if anyone is interested, though I don't know if it's still there or not.

The airing order of haruhi is not the same as the chronological order. Confusing, but true.
Also to my utter shock I forgot to add Lucky Star to the list above. That's a must. As well as negima. and... god The list just goes on. Mai-hime, Hayate the Combat Butler, the world of Narue...... man..

I'm used to putting up with dubs that make ones ears bleed. I watched the entirity of Fruits Basket dubbed, and honestly? One of the worst dubs ever (That didn't have 4 Kids involved.)

Hellsing (Own, I prefer the dub to the subs, the dub is that excellent.)
Outlaw Star (Own, good anime. Dub was bad but I don't care 'cus Aisha is <3!)
Cowboy Bebop the Movie (Own, excellent dub.)
Cowboy Bebop (Excellent dub.)
Fruits Basket (Best anime evar, terrible dub.)
Chobits (First few episodes. Never heard dub, saw it fansubbed.)
Mobile Suit Gundam (No comment. )
Gundam: 08th MS Team (Excellent Gundam series. Dub was passable.)
Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket (Best Gundam series to me, dub was alright but I'd have preferred subs. On that note: NOT MY KAEMPFER! *Sobs* I adored the Zeon suit designs.)
Gundam Wing (Worst Gundam series, bad dub.)
Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz (Made up for the series; I liked the movie a lot. Dub was pretty poor.)
Dragonball (Most of it. The dub was not very good, but at the same time, I thought the sheer silliness and stupidity the voice-actors exhibited suited the series rather well.)
Dragonball Z (Most of it. Dub is infamously bad.)
Digimon (Every season. All but Digimon Tamers suffered from terrible dubs; Digimon Tamers is one of my favorite shows of all time and the dub was actually decent.)
Pokemon (Euch. Ears will bleed. BLEED!)
Monster Rancher (Bad dub, surprisingly good show.)
Vampire Hunter D (Saw it subbed, pretty damned good.)
Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (I was impressed.)
Darkstalkers (Bad dub, decent show.)
Medabots (Bad dub, bad show.)
Hyper Police (Half the series. I saw it subbed, and it's one of my favorite shows.)
One Piece (Dub is the WORST DUB EVER. BOMB 4 KIDS.)
Trigun (Excellent dub, excellent show.)
Rouroni Kenshin (Great show, dub was... Alright I guess.)
Tenchi Muyo! (Dub was alright, great show.)
Tenchi In Tokyo (Dub was bad, show was bad.)
Galaxy Express 999 (It was done in the era of bad dubs and heavyhanded editing. But I still loved it. <3)
A good portion of Hayao Miyazaki's works (Porco Rosso is one of my favorite movies.)
Iria:Zeiram the Animation (I was young, all I remember is that Iria was pretty and the Zeiram creeped me out.)

I know I'm missing a lot but that's just what I remember off the top of my head. And I'm not listing the anime that fall into a category which Suiko forbade me to name on the board, naturally.

I recommend Hellsing to anyone who likes vampires, horror, and action with a generous helping of atmospheric creepiness. I paid 80 bucks for thirteen episodes, and I'm a notorious tight-wad. <3 The animation is beautiful, the characters are wonderful, the plot is great, the dub is the best dub ever and I recommend English-speakers actually WATCH the Hellsing dub, and the soundtrack to the series is SO EFFIN' GROOD.

I can't believe no one mentioned Samurai Champloo,I mean if you love Cowboy Bebop it's a must.What about Yu Yu Hakusho,it was pretty good,although they totally rushed the ending.I agree that Hellsing is one of the best anime i've seen,especially for it's genre,I was hoping they didn;t change change too much in Hellsing Ultimate,and luckily it seems not too much has changed,other than the art work slightly,and the inclusion of a bit more humor and the story more closely follows that of the manga.

I've heard of sayuki and heard that it was good.I keep meaning to watch it,but haven't gotten around to it.Is there any other show that you could compare it to so I can get an idea of what it's like?I'd stick Trinity Blood on the list too,but it was one of those unfinished ending things,it was good,but it would have been great if they had finished the story instead of just leaving it at that whole "the hero continues on they're self imposed arduous journey" thing.
