Once a player hits level 80, it is hard to find effective training spots to gain quick experience. I have listed some areas and give advice on how to complete them.
Under the Quest name, I put down the experience and the gold earned after each battle. The numbers in parenthesis are the amount of experience you gain if you are an x-guardian.
Note that this guide is mainly for experience, not gold. In my opinion, it is better to be a high level character than be a rich low level character.
1.) Beastmaster Final Quest
Tyrant King- 1550+155 xp 720 gp
Time- Less than one minute
This quest only has one monster, the Tyrant King. His experience is scaled, so you might fight a weaker or stronger version. If you are around level 80, you will probably fight the level 105 one, and he should give 1550 xp and 720 gold. It only takes 3-4 mega-inferno hits with mage robes. Use empower and focus and he should go down in less than 30 seconds. Then skip through the talking and hit the replay button. Mages are more effective here than the warriors.
2.) Knight Final Quest
Demon Knight x3- 2250 (2475) xp, 1152 gp
Tyranna- 1500 (1650) xp, 960 gp
Total= 3750 (4125) xp, 2112 gp
Time- 2-3 minutes
The Knight Final Quest can be really good if you have the requirements. If you have low endurance, obsidian cloak, and the Orc Cleaver of Power, than you will gain experience insanely fast. However, the cleaver is rare so you will need to get another ice or light weapon like the nemesis mace. This quest gives the best experience in the shortest amount of time, along with a heap of 2k gold. Mages will have trouble here since the enemies have 85-100 magic resistance, so use undead mutant.
3.) Bennuju Wetlands
Slick The Drakel- 952 (1047) xp, 392 gp
Fragg The Orc- 770 (847) xp, 420 gp
Galanoth- 1007 (1108) xp, 504 gp
Treasure Hoard- 200 (220) xp, 960 gp
Total= 2929 (3222) xp, 2276 gp
Time-3-4 minutes
Mages can just equip mage robes and use empower and focus. Just hit them with your best spells. If you have really low endurance, then watch out for Galanoth's headbutt attack. It does at least 100 damage. Warriors can just smash in the enemies' face in with a strong melee weapon and an ironthorn shield.
4.) Keld Naer
Time-5-8 minutes
If you have the Dragon Blade (From Battle Monster Button) you have two choices. If you want money and are a high level, then go to nightban'es castle. But if you want experience, then go to Keld Naer. Each enemy there has only 800 hitpoints and gives at least 800 xp, so it only takes around 20-30 seconds to kill an enemy with Undead Mutant and the dragonslayer shield. The dragon blade will slice them up in just two-three attacks. The good part about this quest is that there is a continuous stream of drakels, so it mostly fighting a little talking. You get healing after two rounds. There is also a replay button at the end.
5.) Dragon’s Revenge
Treasure Hoard- 200+20 xp 960 gp
Time- 10 minutes
Dragon's Revenge is a fun place to train in. It has a wide variety of dragons, and they all give good experience except that one WEAK young fire dragon (100 xp) but there are many other great dragons. Trigoras is one of the best dragons there. He is easy to kill and gives 2850 xp and 1080 gp, so hopefully you will come across him. At the end, you get a treasure hoard containing 960 gp. You will also get healed every two rounds. When training here, make sure you don't use the dragon blade or it will transform into the dwagon blade, and if you do that then you will cry. I suggest using the mega dragon blade with undead mutant along with the dragonslayer shield.
My experiences with other areas
When training, I do not suggest hitting the battle monsters button in battleon, because sometimes you fight extremely weak monsters which waste time, or you fight insanely tough monsters and only get around 500 xp. It is too random and not worth it. It is an even bigger waste of time to do it in fairwind springs because of that useless willow plate quest. It seems to pop up every 3 clicks, and the talking is very tedious. Also, if you don't have an uber plate and fight the three legendary warriors, then you have to run away.
DO NOT do Vince's maze. The saving times are way too long, and the chest gives horrendous experience. It is better to do the Knight's Final Quest, because it gives about the same amount over time, if not more. It is more time efficient because you get both a lot of experience AND gold.
If you are a mage, use the mage robes, which can be bought from Warlic. With the robes you can use Empower (Increases spell damage by an additional 50%) and Focus (Increases chance to hit). Using these abilities uses up a bit of extra mana, but the whole point of training (or farming) is to kill things fast and get rewards fast. I don't recommend using wild spell or stable spell, because they don't add that much damage and make the spells cost way too much. If you don't have much mana or are fighting tough monsters, then use guardian robes.
If you are a warrior, it would be best to just use Undead Mutant and Uber armors. If you can afford the Ironthorn, then buy it because it increases your melee damage to 200% but decreases chance to hit by -10. It is only good for farming.
Why should I train for experience rather than farm for gold?
First of all, doing quests like Vince's Maze is an utter waste of time. There are quests out there that give the same amount of money and better experience for the same amount of time, like the Knight's final quest. Also, the faster you get to level 90, the easier it will be to train. Once you hit level 90, you unlock your full power. Uber armors get their maximum hit combos, uber spells like ice nine are available, and superb pets like the nerfkitten are available. Once you get those, THEN you can farm for gold. It will be easier and much more enjoyable.
If you are a low level and are just doing Vince's maze, then what will you do with all the money? You are too low of a level to buy the good stuff, and you will then have to train for even longer, and make even more redundant money along the way. It is better to train for experience and gold at the same time, not one or the other. It will save you time later.
