This is the usual format.
Name: Arc Spear
Type: Ranged
Damage: 8-30
Level: 70
Cost: 70000 gold
Element: Energy
Bonus to hit: 10%
Trigger: if the enemy hits the player with Magic-type attacks or uses up MP for an attack.
Trigger damage: 20-40
Special:
Hits: 1
Type: Magic
Element: Energy
Damage: 50-100
Bonus to Hit: 100%
appearance: a bolt of lightning from the top of the screen. Think Darklaw but white.
frequency: 10%
Trigger effect: drains 50% of the target's MP and raises Magic Defense by 5. Defense boost lasts until the weapon is unequipped. The boost stacks 5 times (max boost of 25)
description: The weapon of the legendary Arc Knights, warriors trained to destroy magic-users in all their forms. It is said to have a special effect against mages...
appearance: a white spear with a crescent moon curving around the head, so it looks somewhat like a halberd.
Trigger appearance: the moon glows purple and electricity crackles around the spearhead.
Based on Heath from the game Luminous Arc, because he's awesome and has a spear answering to this description, without the trigger.
