Hey guys I've been thinking for a while, people keep saying their account is stronger than other...but no one will really know who is the strongest so I got an idea. Why doesn't Adventure Quest do Player Vs Player? Come on it will be fun. Won't anyone else agree?

While it would be fun, there are limits. One of them being that the engine isn't really up for it, the battles would be done by AI only so it could be "jinxed". Or whatever.
There WAS a server meant for PvP in AQ actually, of course, it was not done by the AE staff. I know, since I tested it myself. It was good and fun, the project was named AQ eXtreme, I think. The staff closed it down though. It was good as long as it lasted though.
There were other reasons why AQ doesn't do PvP, but what they were I can't remember. Might have something to do with the vast differences between DF and MQ engines, both of which have PvP possibility, and the engine that is being used in AQ.

I thought you could do that when you get to the top of the guardian arena

yeah it is, but I do want to add something:
AQ staff clearly has no concept of class balance, which doesn't surprise me since it seems much of the play testers were still in Diapers when I picked up my first role playing book. It's physically impossible for a decent pvp situation without someone who knows how to balance out the classes.
