I miss the days when the graphics weren't as good and the game was actualy fun, AQ hasn't been giving older players really new things, they have plenty of weapons and stuff, but they aren't adding anything really new, like PvP (a lot of people want that) or at least chatting or something new.Yes, I know, that a lot of people have been complaining about this, but I want it too.

Me too. I love the gradient-spamming, crappy graphics, it reminds you of the first Dragon Wars and that undead princess quest and all the GREAT stuff about AQ. Now they're updating the graphics...it's gonna be lost.

Darn money hungry companies, AE made it to the big leagues in online video games, and now AQ will be boring, and all the players will be stuck up rich kids who get a $150 weekly allowance for Z-token items... curse those overpriced Z-tokens, and also, hope has been lost for a while now, I just play AQ when I can't find anything better... which is pretty often...

Call me MF, it's MadnessFreak (or MiFrie to some people) in German. It sounds better in German.

I wasn't around for the old AQ. I only joined a little over a year ago.
Bummer.

heh. I was around for the old AQ. indeed, I think my first war was either the first one featuring Giind as the boss (Draco Axes first appearance as the reward) or the one which you could get the Holy Handaxe from. seemed like a good weapon at the time, then I replaced it with a Crescent Blade. woo for that.
anyway. I don't miss the old AQ because I wasn't there for an awful lot of it. the Undead Princess was way before my time. I didn't know AQ existed during the time when there was only the inside of the Inn as a building. I played it first during the period before the Resurrection of Drakonnan and the Second Fire War. you know, before they updated the graphics.

You know, old AQ had a lot of problems too. Serious lack of items/customizability, and at one time the shops were HTML. You had to log out to use them, and if you did, chances were good you'd get stuck at the back of the line waiting to get back in.

You know the AQ staffs need money, too, right? To keep the game running, they'll have to keep the servers on for us to play. They made the game to make a living from collecting Guardianship and Z-tokens. I totally disagree with you for NOT agreing with me!

The amount of money they rake in is more than enough to fuel their few crappy servers, they could invest and buy more though, so the players can actually get in. D:<

Yes they could but then they would get less guardianships because no one would need infinite logins for life. So then they would have to get rid of servers thus pissing them off more than ever

Yeah, but then they wouldn't get Gaurdian benefits, so it shouldn't disrupt the sale of GS's too much.
