General rules!

Okay here are some rules of thumb. DF or I or any other mod will probably add on to this later but for now here's some general rules!

1. Do not make redundant polls. check and make sure there are not any polls already about the topic your making.

2. No more than 1 post per week. This however will not be severly enforced though it will be enforced.

3. Please refrain from swearing in the post options/descriptions/anything else. Just don't swear at all.

4.Don't post inappropriate things when replying.

5. Do not stray from the topic TO much... this is like for when the question is " What's your favorite place to visit besides jamaica" and someone responds "How do I get the blue thingy on the airplane to chicago."

6. Questions go in the help hotline! don't make a new thread here about "How do I get _____"

7. No more "what's the best" polls unless it's completely inobvious. for example. No more "Which is better Power word die or fireball" (bizarre exaggeration) An example of an ok one would be "which part of Carnax's body is the best?" Head shoulders knees toes ETC."

Failure to comply will result in a warning depending on how bad the offense. also, read the regular rules before posting here!

How 'bout adding the rules "dont post anything thats not related to polls like questions..." oh and "dont post anythings reffering to inappropriate stuff"

Yes. That first one is a bit iffy if the question actually is about what they're talking about in the post.

It was a very common sense type rule! I agree with common sense.

Seems it might be wise to put some sort of guideline or general rule in every section. Might help to increase order, Since a lot of people seem to be ignoring the rules list when they join. Or just skimming it and missing the point of them.


Putting the rules everywhere might get the point across..

And whatever problem you two have, You need to settle it without the bickering going on between you two on here. I think you've responded to almost all of the two letter posts and other things he's done.

I moved this here because it didn't make sense to have it in the polls section. It's also locked right now but if you think you have a good rule or think that you oppose one pm me. (The opposing thing... well... take that up with DF.) But pm me with rules you think are sens- well... that I would think are sensible and I'll add it. Maybe.
