I'm deciding whether to cut my hair or not. My hair is currently pitch black and is....knee length...I don't have a problem with it, but my mom says it's too long. I will get it cut to shoulder length. I'm also deciding whether to add purple streaks to it(My friend's ideas). Vote now...After you vote, write down the current scores. Hmm... Well it ultimately boils down to what you want, but I think you should leave it long and get purple highlights >.>

Honestly, I favour black over purple any day. But, yes, it's your choice. And I really have no opinion on length.

I cant belive yer school actually allowed u to dye your hair my school no ones not anyones hair is not black ( i wish my hair was blue )

I'm rather amused by the fact that your school allows you to keep that long hair nor that you aren't brothered by the trouble it gives you to take care of.
Well, if your mom doesn't like it, you can always tie it instead of cutting.And let free when she's not looking.
