I think I predicted the merging of the Epic Quest with the Devourer storyline a while back, too.

Um........i have a question, who the heck is the Devourer???
Was he an evil NPC back then when i wasn't even playing AQ yet, or he's just a new villain?

Technically, in the AQ Timeline, the Devourer is a creature that goes from world to world, draining it's elemental energies and destroying all life before moving on to the next. It attacked Lore once before, and the resulting mass destruction and extinction nearly wiped out every race but the Drakel, who were protected in their domed cities.
Currently the Devourer is due to return to Lore sometime soon. His arrival will be pre-empted by the arrival of a Servant who will make sure that the world is actually worth feeding to the Devourer. Epheel apparently hopes that by finding and killing the Servant, stopping it from telling the Devourer that Lore is edible, then the Devourer will just skip right over us.
Personally, my money is on NightBane being the servant, which is why Epheel's trying to get close to him.

maybe we should make a masisve version of a Drakel Dome and drop it over LORE so the devourer breaks its teeth on us?

before someone says it's lame, I just got all the way to Fenris (after a Green Nasty AND a Mr Worm with no heal in between. owies.) and died on the first turn. I need a light weapon that heals.

Hmm, I'm blaming Twilly. He pops out of nowhere beside Artix, but still refuses to heal you. Personally, I wouldn't want Artix's Lay on Hands on me.
Joke aside, would the Devourer really use Nightbane as his Servant? Does he send in a minion, or does he actually change the fate of a newborn? Seems sorta confusing. @_@

She looks and sounds like a female, has a feminine name and generally radiates girliness. She is most definately a girl.
