I've decided to make this thread to find out who the people from the olden days are. Why? Because you foolish children have all changed your names and as a result I don't know who is who any more. So I figured let's see who's still around, and is willing to come here and just drift away and talk about the memories of the old days where these boards were sooooo active it used to kill. When we used to spend all of our time here, and I remember when I barely went on the AQ forums back then. Where is every body?
Oh and change your names back.

ahh I remember the old days that was a long time ago I've almost been here for two years.
Back then at least 3 people were on at any given moment and you could get a quick reply to a question.People treated each other as equals and good I miss those days. This board is dieing now so many good people have left like cloud,tails, pantomime(sp?), BDF, DM and quite a few others.

Those were the days when people were considered uber in the 80's. LS was the only one that was above lvl 90. Suik and DF were actually here on a regular basis. What ever happened to BDF? He just up and left one day.

eh, I've been around a while. long ago enough that I remember Anar posting regularly.
I remember being Venus Djinn once, and I'm still on the AQ boards under that name.

Yeah the memories were awesome.
PS Ithious, I too was in the 90s in those times myself. I also remember when DF was a complete regular here, and not just closing topics either but rather talking to people. Suik wasn't like that much but better than now.
I remember Haku, one of the Uber Moderators she was. Those were the days.
I also remember when Aegis Kusanagi (weird name) was called Seraphim Zero, and a little bad incident happened to him.
I remember Darkmatters, that dude was jokes still...until he was banned. Man soooooooo many memories we had.
Oh, and let's not forget Lightning Raze...the person I got my rating style out of, and learned some other stuff from as well. He was really cool indeed.
I remember our other Mods, Starlite comes to mind. Where is that guy nowadays?

What about Dragonboy001? I still talk to him occasionally, but not here, or about anything to do with AQ actually.

I dont know if I'm considered old,but I remember when I acted really dumb.I would just post in threads that I felt like posting in,whether or not they were on the first page or the one hundred second page.Now I dont do that.I only post when I have something to say.Do you guys consider me old?I was here before MF was...

I remember this was the first forum i ever joined  and who's BDF again? man i cant remember anyone... EDIT: I noticed DF was labelled as Guest And suiko admin. Don't worry, my bad. |

This was my first forum also. I created a topic like this once. It died . Before I created an account here I read everything you guys talked about for like 3 months, then I joined and Basil was the first person I talked to, then Animalking. I remember seeing alot of all of your posts and you all seemed like nice enough people so I joined. I didn't post much at first, all I did was read other's posts... Not much longer after I joined... Darknessmaster spam attacked. I didn't know what was going on...I got pretty mad because I couldn't find any of my good topics to read...so I posted. That might have been my second or 3rd post. By then Animalking and I had become friends and talked regularly. |

But this wasn't my first forum. I started off on the AQ forums, got banned for being in a clan that ended up spamming like crazy, and migrated here.

I remember when people actually posted in gimme data and we'd race to be the first to post it. Back when we were only like half as big as we are now. I actually joined this forum before I joined the official AQ forum. Back then it was Anar, DF and Webwolf in charge with Darkwarrior, Lightningraze, Haku and later Warlic being the mods. I'm actually going to make a credits page soon listing all the staff of yesteryear on it. I also remember when I took charge of the updating, after Khold and DF didn't have the time for it anymore. We almost didn't have anyone to do the updating. Lastly I remember when the IRC channel actually got some traffic. So come on to the IRC channel and revive it from an inactivity slumber  /bump |
