What are your thoughts about defensive stance?
For what I've found and done, there are few defensive armors, like Shadow Cloak and weaker Icefall, for Melee/Ice defense.
The trick is that, healing things are much more useful when you're wearing strong armor. And altough they're not so useful on Offensive, this is when Ranging and healing weapons, like Lycan Healing weaps kick in, and other things like that.Heal Wounds gets much more powerful, and so Fairy Godmother.
I ask you, do you think that Defensive approach stands an competive stance?

pardon? what exactly are you asking?
if you're saying that armours seem to be better for attack than defense, I disagree. most of the strong monsters I've beaten have only been beaten due to me having high defense.

I'm asking do you think that REAL DEFENSIVE approach stands a competive stance. And I mean so Defensive that most of the Offense can be dropped.I mean more than defensive.I mean....going into defense and out to the other side. Heh.....It also depends on monsters BTH.For example, Battle Trolls are quite easy to beat, altough they take some time due their 2000 HP.on the other hand, While Rabid Burp has only 1000 HP, it's far more dangerous for me.....

I haven't worried much about the blocking percentages of armors and shields. Elemental resistances is what I usually go for.

I go for killing power, and compatibility in situations, there's no point in carrying around an armor you only use for one thing >.>
