ok i have been working on this for a month and get nowhere. I am trying to get my dvds to my computer so i can put them on my ipod. I have downloaded 30+ programs (most being free trials where they let you only rip 50% or 2 min of a dvd or something like that) and tried counless ways to get them on there.
I have found a couple good programs that will rip them for free and they get the whole dvd on my computer but puts them into multiple parts that i cant get back together.
So is there anyone out there that could either point out a good program that will do this in one step (preferably a free program) or tell me how i can put all the dvd segments into one?

Sorta. It worked on a couple of occations. But the problem i had was that the ripper put the dvds into a powerdvd format and WMM didnt support that. So i went searching and foun the best way to do it, and now i have all my dvds on m ipod. I found a program called DVD shrink (free) that rips them in an hour, it was ripping a three hour film. then i got Nero (some trial version, like 7.7.5.1) and that put them back togeather AND into ipod format for me. and the best part it was free.
