I have a problem. Everyone knows that new players (noobs, newbies, etc.) are a little...complex. I want to help them but they are usually very cocky and rude. (i.e. swearing, name calling, begging for money, etc.) So, should I even bother anymore giving helpful items and tips to these new players or should I just leave them alone to be decimated by older players?

I say leave them, it's not worth the time. I remember when I was a newb but I was never rude, so most of them won't change

If I do my job it's hard yes... you get banned for that because DF would lose his job as AK if the other mods @ AQ boards saw. I say the heck with 'em. Just let the n00bs get banned or warned and everyone will be fine. |

First you should try to find out if she likes you the way you like her, but do it carefully. If she finds out about your little "investigation", you r soooo busted. And don't ask her friends. Chances are, they'll lie and then tell "her" all about your wondering. You can't ask if she likes you unless you know she does.If she doesn't and you ask her, things could get nasty. If I think of any more tips I'll post em.
P.S. You don't have to do what I said. It's just my opinion of what I'd do were I in your position.

It´s just that there are times that controlling your feelings becomes very difficult, if you like someone you can´t get it off you, well I just needed to get that off my chest, if anyone has an advice please tell me! |

I understand Darth. Many feelings are too difficult to suppress. In fact I definitely agree with you. Some people find an "outlet" for their feelings. Mine are writing poetry, drawing, and talking on this forum. Maybe you just need to find an outlet. Maybe not. Just don't keep them bubbling up inside you. That can lead to breakdowns and stress.Ya just gotta find a way to get what it is you are after, or at least substitute it for something almost as good. I agree that some things, like when you like someone, you can't get it out of your system. You have to chase after what you want.  P.S., I'm going through the same thing, so if I get any leads, I'll let you know. |
