Yeah. At least one of the weapons from Frostvale make it to the top of the list every year, I think. They haven't made a nerf to one yet, too.

the reason they have never been nerfed before is that the staff never really made the war this long. normally it's over by yesterday.

The staff will say they nerfed them, yet they keep them at full power to prevent a relapse, but then the n00bs start whining on the forums because they think the most overpowered weap of all time will have been nerfed before they could et their undeserving hands on it.

it's over and apparently we made it. who wants to bet the staff boosted the bar so we could complain?
anyway, back to the items. King Frost's armour (complete with absorbing fire, but it has 150% to that so don't risk it. also has a 15% chance of saving you from death with healing. does that make Paladin obsolete?), a polearm-like weapon that surpasses the best valesword (same base, same b2h, +4 random) and a snowflake shield. oh, and a penguin that throws sardines.

well, snowflake shield gives you -25% ice resistance. That combined with ice fall gives you 25% ice resistance, also you get to choose between 2 types of attack. Best ice defense I've had so far, but the fire absorption thing is kinda unneeded since the armor has bad fire defenses and there is only a small chance. If it was a 50% chance then... The penguin is not that bad either.

dude combine armor with ice orb essence : 17%  the weapon is great, the shield is fantastic and I will be selling my undead axe of storms for the weapon.  |

So I'm now without a fire weapon and have an energy weap that's infinately more powerful (4-37)?
