Does it matter a great deal where AE advertise as long as it is not shown in the game?

A bit of cash? That is the understatement of the FOREVER.Artix is a money-hungry,slave driving PIG.Off topic:Hey Madness, can you make me a picture of Artix with a sword through his head?Maybe a little blood...Oh!And make him have a mustache.Y'know,so in case he checks this site...LOL.Back on topic:Why does he need this much money?Lets see...He lets guardians stay on for as long as they like, but since they do,the server gets overloaded with guardians. And he has to pay more. So,since he advertises to become a guardian, more people come, and in the long run,he loses more money than he gains. So he trys to figure out ways to make more money.Hes gonna go bankrupt and then probably get sued because even GUARDIANS cant get on.

Off topic: Pivot of Artix's demise is not going to take long. On topic: Word. When I got my Gaurdianship it cost me but £8. (That's pounds, not euro's, darnit) Since then the price has jacked rediculously. When my friend got HIS it cost him £3. " Now it's somewhere near £10-11. FAIL. >.> The banwith charges are high for the servers, but not particularly bulked, with only 2 servers. Proboards.com seems to manage 1.1 million servers fine, with less advertisement p/page than Battleon/DragonFable by a long way.

AE is not a money grabbing game ,just like everything in the world prices inflate. Prices where always low for as long as they could be and even now I regard them as being low as it is a one time payment. It is not like other games where it is per month .

Why are you guys against this? AE is just offering jobs to people who love their games. just think, you get paid to play this game. Guardianship and buying tokens are an option. It is also a one time payment. I know of many other game sights that make you pay monthy just to have an account muchless playing any of their games.

But Ith,Artix is SCAMMING THEM!He doesnt give you a raise. And it makes kids who do play(like myself)want to take the job.WHich means my entire life I will be hoping I can sign up.And then I wont get to...OK,I admit it.I hate Artix WAY too much. But think about it like this. When you buy 7500 Z-Tokens twice,it costs 60 dollars. The same amount as buying one 15000,but before that, you could only buy up to 5000,and if you wanted 7500,you would end up paying...40 dollars.YOu get Surplus too!So those who bought Z-Tokens before Artix added 7500,have been ripped.OFF!But if you take my opinion, its a bad idea.I have a biased opinion of Artix.Natural hatred you could say.If I met him,I would kick him and Rhubarb in the shins, then knee them in the scrotum, and steal their wallets and house keys.I would then throw their house keys in a lake.Or I would just stand there in awe.Cuz I still do like his game.Kind of.BTW,dont listen to me about Artix.

Z-Tokens may be optional, but it is wrong to be made to pay rediculous prices for PIXELS, and rare ones at that. The only fair trade scheme I know of is on GaiaOnline monthly collectables, which have fair prices and you can just get them easily for Gaia Cash, unlike Z-Tokens, which I'm on about 20/.day. Just 'cause you can get them ingame doesn't make it fair, especially as they are so low. Btw, I like the scrotum thing. Off Topic: I expect this locked in a few days, but hope it stays up.

Off topic: It is not your job what needs to be locked it is mods and admins.
On topic: The AQ team are generally nice, they have to pay wages, the cost of advertising and servers and maybe more.....Unless you know all the details about his profits and loses then it is best not to speak of it.
You say that it is only pixels on a page that is correct but AQ doesn't force you to play the game ,you are able to quit anytime . It doesn't force you to buy anything only that if you do you get a few perks.(Ok alot of perks but it still lets you have a trial period of being an adventurer for as long as you want.)
I think alot of people would like to work for AE but you could say that about alot of things like that: professional sports you get paid to play that, get a living singing you should know that only a few people ever get lucky. AE work very hard at what they do and unless you had any experience in flash ,art or coding you should know also that you also have to be over a certain age also by that age unless you have a great passion for working with this you would have probably got bored and forgotten about it with more responsibilities to attend to and might have gone off AQ like most of the old veterans on UAQ have.
