I had to try two times to get in the Tower, because the constant miss due to the nerfbat caused the Nerf Wraith to kill me.
The stuff it recited was amusing though.
Once I got the Nerfbat, all became a lot easier.

hey guys can anyone mention the rewards because these quest sucks, i loose a lot of pecious time inflicting 16 hitpoints per attack? i really need to know!!! pleasee

Comfy Pillow does alittle more damage. It is pink and in the first room of Yuglar's Inn.

Last year when Devourer destroyed Lore as we know it, it lasted only for one day, and I missed it.
TOO darn BAD FOR ME, and for everyone else who misses a 1-day event.
Good thing for us that the rewards weren't that good anyway.

What happened then?
EDIT: I'm LV 93 and having trouble with LV10 monster, LV5 monster takes down half of my health.
Something definately smells unbalanced.
What will all those who are below LV90 do?

Heheheh. I had trouble as well, but these rewards are BRILLIANT. Oh, don't change armor against the boss if it's nerfed you at all. Your MP goes down, to the point that you won't be able to cast spells above Fireball.
Nerfbat = brilliant pet.
Nerflord's Crest = BEST SHIELD I OWN. -5% to everything and +7 to all defenses, making it the best all-round shield I posess.

I find that Comfy Pillow deals more damage but misses alot.
