Mondrogor =/= mandragora. Spelling differences make all the difference.
Besides, I've survived poison before. Yew berries are poisonous and I ate some by accident when I was 5. No effect whatsoever, and this is a game we're talking about, so it applies even less.

Sure they do. Then why was it named Mandragora at first?
Perhaps the same could be said of all things AQ has had added and later renamed. IT IS DIFFERENT BECAUSE THE NAME HAS A FEW LETTERS DIFFERENT.
I am also willing to start a debate about the degree of poison between these "yew berries" and mandrake. Perhaps you would have needed to eat more than what you did to experience the effects, maybe the berries weren't "ready" yet(I don't know, I'm no botanist).
But the whole mandragora =/= mondrogor being false in your opinion, because the staff REnamed the monster to the latter, is to be honest, stupid.
It's a fantasy creature. A plant which SCREAMS. And in AQ's case, jumps at you like a being from beyond.
The similarities are too much to say that they're two different things. True, the staff could try to save face by saying the two are different in the AQ universe, but that's yet to happen.
Also.
Your retort about "this is just a game" makes no sense because just a moment ago you were willing to eat a fictional monster. And now that I make a mention that a same characteristic fictional monster is also deadly poisonous, you go with "this is a game, it doesn't apply".
Then why mention about eating that thing in the first place, and bringing the two of us on a talk about whether or not Mandragora are Mondrogor and so on?
Srsly.

A who the what now? Isn't Gilgamesh that uber-buffed Stone Golem in the Void? I'm sure I've heard the name somewhere else, though.

I snagged the armor, all the weapons are low level, and fairly stupid. The pets seem decent enough but with the CHA heavy trend lately I'm guessing they'd be useless to me.I still say there should be weaker 0 CHA level pets or atleast uber low level CHA pets, obviously they wouldn't do near the damage, but just because you aren't some beast master build or hybrid doesn't mean you cant have a pet.
