You know what i think they should do to this spell? Make it toll-free to cast and takes MP to prevent the damage done to yourself. Now that should make more sense, right? MP costed should be from shielding yourself, not for uttering a tabooed word.

The whole point of the Red Fog is that it's harmful to every living, mortal(and in some cases immortal) being.
To suddenly change it to NOT doing physical damage and taking away your MP would be retarded. Wouldn't make sense you know.

I'm with Iceberg on this one. The Red Fog kills things, calling it down around yourself should have repercussions.

And it being a plotpoint that summoning Red Fog deals in PAIN, such a change would be, as said, retarded.

Well, it should have been made X-elemental for plot sake's then too.And because the fact that I'm so cool........Wind and fire, albeit not being the worst combination, is not my favorite. It doesn't carry a point of being able to block it or get more or less damage from it.
Player: PWRF monster: thank you for heal^-^*smashes player*.

You'd be surprised how many monsters I see that are weak to either of those elements, or both. I know I was.
And Element X would have been stupid. Acid-burns from those Dragons is Fire as well. This is something like that, I assume.
And if you are stupid enough to cast PWRF when the enemy has negative to either elements, you deserve to be smashed. And I doubt anyone is THAT stupid, right? Right?
It never was mentioned anyway what element Red Fog represents anyway. Just that it deals damage to both sides in a fight.

But it deals a constant damage to you, no matter what the resistances. That why Void.....
but yeah, deserves to be smashed yeah.

the Red Fog deals Element X in the EQ, so why does it act differently when we summon it?
Imagine what would happen with Reflective armor. Half the damage gets sent back from every hit you take, and the opposite element. Pity it's rare... I wonder what type it'd do, since it's elementless on the hits you take...

A map will be posted on the AQ boards once one's been made and submitted to them. Xyphos' undead form is unbeatable, and it's the only one he has.
edit: Whoops, that's a Xyno. I wonder if there IS something with his name in, though? I'm sure I read it somewhere ages before this quest. note: In case the edit confused people, I was wondering if there was a monster description with Xyphos' name in it.

LoC: People have beaten UX buffed form with constancy, so it isn't that hard.Eladar does it about third of the time he fights it.

I just would deem it "not worth the trouble". If you like bragging about killing a Flash monster that you could just edit to death, go ahead.
