True, but they should have at least mentioned it in the AQ forums and seeing how everyone reacts. Captain is usually good at those things.

exactly. I like the idea of using multiple potions now, but what happens when they try make make changing ARMOR use SP? indeed, I need to use Misc. Items on the first turn of some fights just so I don't die. I don't think I'll be able to do that any more.

You could just rack up the SP from easy fights. Like Frogzards. That's what I do when I don't want to go into RA and face Armegoggon with my Guardian Plate. You're acting like there's nothing to do if that gets implemented, when you're just plain lazy from the looks of it.
And Captain did say he was thinking about equipment change cost SP, which I actually think would be a GREAT idea. Seriously. There has to be some cost for you to change equipment in the split of an eye ingame. Either SP, or my idea for making each equipment change take a turn. : D

changing weapon so you can actually hurt things is part of every game. if AQ was realistic, you'd take nearly 10 turns to reload a Wolfbane Gun and have to restart every time you got hit. come to think of it, making it realistic would result in instant death from any hit at all. IDEA= PHAIL.
edit: and I'm not lazy either. some people have something called a LIFE. and I play DF as well, which means I actually have to think rather than just pressing "attack" then "undead mutant".

I don't see the point in this SP either, but meh I'll live with it. This should favour warriors though snuggly area! class abilities which are not "magic" will be costing SP instead of MP soon...which means about a year or two.

Silly you, everyone and their mother knows that all ranged weaponry from crude designs like bows to automatons such as guns, work by Magic which creates more ammunition to them!
Obviously you'd only need to spend a turn to change to that weapon.
That aside.
I have nothing else to say now. But this.
Lol. LOLOLOLOLOOLOLO

I don't mind too much about this SP thing. I kinda wish I had the XP bar back though. I have a bad feeling that this SP thing will soon require stats. >.>

Chill, it's kinda stupid and pointless, but they're making some class skills be used by SP's so you Warriors will have chances to use them much more. It's just a small addition to the game, won't hurt.

Actually, that's a possibility.
However, I just thought that was in AQ since the beggining of it, works with shops, in battle and overall too, and can be trained.Your charater level. Sheesh......now there's two.

um... they just edited the Base Tier classes... in exchange for a few SP, Fighters, Rogues and Mages can now do stuff like a temporary stat boost...
this is turning into BeastMaster V2.

Now if they just added an option where it cost sp to rearrange armour, misc, weapons in battle I might like this whole new sp thing.

why in battle u can already rearrange armour and stuff by going to the inventory at the shop (although i do agree with u in battle is a little easier as in the shop it is quite tiring to press up and down upteenth times)
