Actually, true elemental effects like paralysis, freeze, or burn sounds like a good addition to AQ. Really there's only freeze, and that's only made by a handful of moves.

nope. Paralysis is part of Cupid's attack and can be inflicted by both Grog 'n Flog (Pirate) and Cannon Fodder (pirate). so really it's a wind-associated attack; they all do at least one hit of wind damage.

Yeah, Burn is only for Dead Woods.
