hopefully that's the in-game currency not one to be bought with real-life cash. apparently there's a thing somewhere which mentions a Dragonlord XLR chassis for the mechs. presumably this means you need to be a dragonlord to get it.

Hey, who cares? It's ASSAULTMECHA, for heaven's sake, the long-anticipated project that I've been waiting for.
Let's hope that they don't make it turn-based, or else I'm going to sue. Also, I want some MOVEMENT and PLAYER INTERACTION.

... *dies* DAMMIT~! Can't they come up with something original for GOD'S SAKE!
No, I'm serious. AQ, AK, DF~ They all lack PLAYER INTERACTION. Isn't it just so MORONIC!

No, it's just the limitations of Flash. You can't use a lot of scrips in AS 2.0, it was designed for offline games. So until they get something like Unix and learn Vi (meant to be an unbelievably hard to use code), they're stuck on the spork of SPORG.

Pretty simple. they're waiting for when they have a ton of players, then they'll finish it, make it completely premium, and all the fans will buy it out completely. then artix and the team will have their own piles of money. that or they're making it an MMO. I hope it's the latter, but it's been so long I doubt it

^you realize that the people that work for AE have to support a family. They need to make at LEAST $40,000 a year.
