Oh the kindred set? Is it worth getting or should I get the shadow robe first (after I finish with spells and stats etc.)?

I'd say go with the Shadow Cloak, the Kindred Armor is basically a glass cannon, it's damage is like one of the highest in the game but it's defense is terrible, worse than Reign IIRC.

I personally see no use for Kindred set. The fact that you skip turns to charge up one big attack seems risky and a little pointless. You could basically do the same damage in the turns you skipped but that is just my opinion. Even if it is a more powerful attack its BtH is bad and, as Rizadon said, it has a terrible defense.

Eh, it has it's uses. You sit around for 5 turns, and heal by 9% of the damage you would had done each turn. In the end, you lose 10 bth, but gain like 300% more damage IIRC.
The weapon- the more you hit, the more Bth it loses, but gains more damage. The more you miss, the more Bth it gains, but it loses some damage, so basically it adjusts to the monster.
The shield, well if you click it, it heals your HP and MP at the cost of some SP.

The Kindred Set is O.K. The Turn Lag is Abhorrent though, The Shield is a Definite must. Especially if you Tank Mage, Or Tank anything honestly, It Turns Horribly Useless SP in to essentially a free healing Potion.

Honestly, Kindred is meh. It has it's uses (not many though). I'd rather use Asgardian for everything else. SP is gonna become useful after the sweep comes... I don't really find a need for the shield right now anyways, since my shield slots are filled up and I already have the Bora'jee for SP healing.
