I guess a big question is do we need the UAQ Encyclopedia anymore or is the encyclopedia on the AQ forums sufficient? The encyclopedia is why this place was formed.

The UAQ databases predate the encyclopedia, but I think it has become impossible to keep this site up to date, with the lack of people with the drive and ability to do this.

It's easier to navigate on UAQ than the forum encyclopedia. I still use it for older items in the game. But what we really need is the forum back-- that'll help the site a lot by having a COMMUNITY. Of course, though, how do we do this? I contacted a few of the new people here and a few vets via AIM such as Cloud and Rizadon and they said they might stick around. Of course, we need new members but to get this, we will probably need vets.

I got tons of work being in 8th grade now, so I can help little but willing to do as much as I can. Captain Bloody, reporting for battle!

BTW, do you guys think this forum will live or die? Sadly, I'm betting on it dying within the next 3 months.

May I suggest that we use the Battleon Forum's encyclopedia to update the databases?
If we manage to get some more traffic here, then I don't think it will die.

Parts of the UAQ encyclopedia are better than the forum's pedia. It's easier to navigate through and has attributes such as rating, average damage, etc. The question is why would people use two databases? What's the point of having two?

All we have to do is somehow make our Database better than their encyclopedia with our much more limited amount of people.

I am literally a brand-new forum member--this is my first post.

I'd just like to say that UAQ is a much better database than the official encyclopedia. This was the first site I used to compare armors, and I love it dearly. It would be wonderful to help keep it alive.

One suggestion I have is to have clear directions on where to submit updates, other than direct email. Perhaps have a different thread for each type of submission (armor, weapons, monsters, etc.)?

Other than that (even though I am a lowly new member) I would love to help keep UAQ updated and alive! ^_^

Haha... Golden ages will rise and fall. Ever since Anar left for the second time the decline has gotten a lot faster. C'est la vie...

thing is, I remember when there were people creating huge threads in Gimmee Data. Lol that was back at the time of the whole Favourite Race thing... I got like 12 warnings off that! Anyway the pedia is fine, although I really doubt most of us veterans use it anymore or even play for that matter. I quit like in August XD

But yeah. I digress. This used to be such a wonderful place... Now it's dead. I'm lucky I have facebook.
