Could've been worse. Could've had a skill that doesn't actually do anything and 9 other skills that are outdone in damage output by Guardian Armor - Ohshi-

If it's as bad as you're all saying it is, it's kinda funny that you need level 10 Fighter to start it. I like the fact that I don't normally have to level up a class to access a new one. My Fighter's currently at 9, so back to trying to make holes in stat rolls.
edit: oh, and only hitting a monster with the class armor should be easy. That sort of thing is the reason I carry the Signs AND a Salvation Blade. Neither the Crystal nor Salvation blades have specials.
edit again: guess what? forums say you're NOT SUPPOSED to beat the guardian thing, though it IS possible.
EDIT YET AGAIN: Well, there's definitely a Hadoken and an I Know Kung-fu reference in there. No sign of the Over 9000 one yet.

And Paladin. Don't forget Paladin. You don't need any other classes except those two. JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER FANTASY GAME OUT THERE. | well dragonslayer quite useful too and Beastmaster and wizard and lastly berserker these class with good tactics and some luck is outrageous.

I'm thinking I'll go for the Dragon secondary skill set, if we can choose. What do the rolls use?

Intelligence, supposedly.
Ceris: Dragonslayer is only useful in a small set of situations, and requires an inordinate amount of charging. No one actually 'uses' Dragonslayer, they just charge up CFTFD, use it, then change armor again. Beastmaster is only useful for the guests, and Krenos beats even the double-summon's damage output. Like CFTFD, most people only use Beastmaster for one turn, to summon the guests, then they change armor. And Berserker... Berserker requires physical stats. 90% of the game is mages. Berserker isn't good, it's just the best us dumb warriors have.
Necromancer is the only class that sees actual use, use being defined as being equipped for multiple turns for its own merits and not to charge up Armageddon.

actually, it's Charisma. I'd be getting a LOT more boost if it were INT. On the bright side, I'm level 8 in it and the only problems I'm meeting are called Bruised Lee level 60.

They ARE weird, but at least they know Hadoken.
edit: Once I'm done with the Dragon set I think Sneak will be next. SlideslideslideCHOMPPOISONDEATHslideslideslidevanish.

They should have another armor at like level 90 with the ability to change to any of the form you've learned and maybe even be able to learn them all.Just make it cost some SP to change forms,I mean they do it in kung fu movies so why not.

My damage output in Berserker can very simply outdo my mage output. When farming at house, I actually deal most damage in Berserker because it is faster.

I was thinking of an armor like that, too! Except mine can use all the abilities at ONCE! The only thing i find frustrating now is the cost of the abilities. They cost a CRAP load of SP!!!

Agreed. So it is like 4 turns in 1 armor, to a skill, shift back again.

I don't look at it as a high SP cost, but as a LOW MP cost. If I run out of MP on Undead Mutant, Martial Artist provides some half-decent attacks which run on constantly-regenerating SP. Besides, the Dragon School is working out great for me. 100+ damage with Chi Shockwave ^.^ mind, it IS fixed to energy.

And that's the biggest letdown of the school system. All their specials are fixed monoelement.

Energy isn't exactly a bad thing. I hardly fight any energy monsters these days.
WHY DID I ONLY JUST THINK OF TAKING THE GUARDIAN ANGEL WITH ME FOR THIS CLASS
edit: Wow, raising DEX and buying the Sneak school Gi was possibly my best decision so far. Since it doesn't use MP for anything but Chi Blast, I can use AoV twice, Brilhado Feathers and then keep attacking. Why does this work? Counterattack. With higher DEX and no MP use (Sneak Skin uses 15 SP per turn to raise all defenses by 5, Counter is free once turned on) I can just keep blocking. Head of the Raydius Dragon or the Wooden Sign would help if I ever used them, but I don't. yet.
