/Sergeant Apone
So, Suiko got the info up. If you use melee weaponry GET THE WATER VERSION. It beats Rosethorn and pwnz all over Darklaw. Blows the Dread Pirate's Cutlass out of the water.
Plus it looks bad-axe.
Now if only they give us buyable Herdmaster Blades. The Guardian one is just WTF powerful and for once would give us a trully powerful melee Light weapon.

If they give us a herdmaster's blade it'll become like the darklaw except triggers on something else.
Should i get the bad axe since i have a space left.So I wont need to sell my DPC.

Even if you have to sell your DPC, do it. The Bad-Axe water version is, for lack of a better word, 1337.
Are you kidding me? I would KILL for a Light Darklaw. Lemme put it this way:
Best Melee Light weapon? Golden Axe. Went rare LONG ago. Second best Melee Light weapon? DracArch. And it's a semi-Class canceller with a weak special so it's crap. Went rare months ago. Third best Melee Light weapon? Elite Skinscraper. Went rare LONG ago. Fourth best Melee Light weapon? Undead Axe of the Sun. First Melee Light weapon on the list that isn't rare. Let's see the stats, shall we? 5-22, 8% BTH, special is 5-17 x6.
Does this tell you anything about the current state of Melee Light weaponry? The staff has REFUSED to release a good Melee Light weapon ever since Golden Axe went rare. Orc Cleaver was only good if you were an Undead Mutant addict and now that it's been nerfed it's not even useful for that.

Sylux: There's a level 65 Energy version of the Bad-Axe but Undead Axe of the Storm beats it.
(Is slowly drawing closer to his aim of having an inventory full of axes.)

Sylux: I don't see how it's buffed. I used it for several days, the special happened way too often and the damage it inflicted was often single-digit against enemies with 140%+ to Energy.
Edit: Just checked. Gatta King's Saw: 6-27, 15% BTH, special is total damage 18-81 with 40% BTH. Average damage 34.1. Undead Axe of the Storm: 6-27, 12% BTH, special is total damage 36-126 with 27% BTH. Average damage is 41.9.
