It wasn't a fair contest. The people under level 70 are going to use this money to buy crappy items, find out that they're crap, sell them, buy another, rinse and repeat. Then they'll be down to zero gold soon and suddenly realize that the dumb AQ gods' blessing wore out.
I think it should have been restricted to level 70+, if not higher.

Level 70+ would have been fine, since that's when people start saving for the ubers. Giving 100k gold to 47 newbies is as retarded as tyring to live your life with no head.

that was ... um ... ya i agree with Berethor only i still think it should be a gaurdian thing only. Then people who actually cared about the game and played more often and stuff got a prize that they deserved.

I honestly do not think we need anymore "guardian only" events/items/opportunities. It is hard enough as it is for adventurers to farm. the maze, carnax scroll, and many other good farming spots are guardian only.

ya but they didnt train for this they faught atleast, and most likely only, one battle and got a free 100,000 gold.
